InLove With My Frannie and Vinnie Bag!
Posted by Alveel Kaith in Kaith Giggles, Kaith Shares, Kaith Wears on September 1, 2011
i may be a lot of things but this i can say is true: i am not a bag-a-holic.  i only have 10 bags (1 in black, 1 in mocha, 1 in dark brown, 1 in gray, 1 a red/blue combi, 1 in fuschia, 1 in pink, 1 in green canvas and two in various prints).  you may have noticed that all can be mixed and match with the shoe colors that i have, thus i don’t feel the need to expand the “collection.” and mind you, these are all very inexpensive bags 🙂
but once in a while you get to see that one wonderful bag that gets your attention and makes you think that hey, that would probably look good on my shoulder (in the same way that shoes seems to wink at me and beg to be tried on. LOL).  i’ve had that moment when Frances blogged about the satchel her sweet darling husband had gifted her with, and shared that she might start her very own bag business soon!
to make a long story short, i, along with countless others who fell in love with Frances’ satchel, ordered one and finally received it today. Â the bestseller i think would’ve to be the one in tan but i wanted mine in natural untanned leather, which is beige and even pinkish in color.
what’s to love about it:
1) Â it is pretty! Â the color (and style) should match any outfit i throw together.
2) Â the satchel is made of real leather (cow hide) so it’s sturdy, flexible and as per Frances, is made to be used and abused. Â LOL. Â this is perfect for me since i usually over-stuff my bag.
3) Â i love the inner pocket where i can stash cash or small items like a flash drive and the small pocket in front which could hold my powder and lip gloss and iPhone.
3) Â the price is generally inexpensive for something that’s made of genuine cow hide.
4)  ordering is totally painless!  i just placed my order, exchanged a few emails with Frances and waited for my satchel to be delivered.  it even came with a handwritten note from Frances (and Vince!).  isn’t she so sweet? 🙂
very pretty and cute, yes? 🙂
i am such a happy camper today! Â
p.s.: Â please don’t mind the peeling skin. Â that’s the aftermath of a really fun overnight stay at Plantation Bay
i cannot wait to use this bag starting tomorrow. Â must plan Friday outfit tonight. Â LOL.
you want one for yourself, too? Â go ahead and order now!
What A Wonderful Loooong Weekend
Posted by Alveel Kaith in Kaith and Mommyhood, Kaith Shares, Kaith Shouts Out, Kaith's Family on August 31, 2011
the long weekend (four blissful days, can you imagine??) can be summed up in four phrases:
1) plantation bay
2) game of thrones
3) eating
4) sleeping
we were in plantation bay from saturday to sunday and we had so much fun, we didn’t notice we were so roasted already! LOL. Â all four of us are currently sporting healthy tanned skin, which would be so ugly in the next few days. Â i am starting to peel already! Â argh.
then on monday, i went to the city to celebrate the birthday of one of my really awesome close friends, R. Â we feasted on his dad’s delish caldereta, lechon, siomai and cake, and they even taught me how to play mahjong. Â LOL. Â will probably try to play it the next time i visit their warm home.
we didn’t go out on tuesday so i had the whole day to laze around with the kids and prepare for the three-day workweek.  i wish we can always have long weekends like this one (well, i just realized there’s one coming right one up next week!).  i hope you also enjoyed your four-day break! 🙂
