Player Cards

22 07 2011

I sent a suggestion to fanmail@clubpenguin.com. It was about player cards. I made a suggestion that would make it look better, and be more organized. Remember the old icons like this?

And the old player cards like this?

I sent in a suggestion that they bring back these player cards with SOME of the new features, making it better and much more organized.

Let’s hope for the best!

Argh! How to Speak the Pirate Language

22 07 2011

Argh! Hello, everyone! This be Hadger, and as ye mateys may know, the 2011 Island Adventure Party has arrived at Club Penguin. Rockhopper’s ship also be there.

Argh!  If you encounter that Rockhopper lad, ye might want to know how to speak the Pirate Language. Me wants to be teachin’ ye mateys how to speak the Pirate Language. Me will be givin’ ye the lessons in the language that the ancient Pirate Language originated in: English! Here be the lessons:

1. Always say “Argh” when starting a paragraph or a sentence. Example:
Argh! We be out of cream soda.

2. Never say “I” or “my”. Say “me” instead. Example:

Argh! That be me toy.

3. Refer to a group of people by saying “mateys.” Example:

Argh, me mateys!

4. When addressing a boy, say “lad”. When addressing a girl, say “lassy”. Examples:

Argh! Fire the cannons, lad!

Argh! Clean the ship, lassy!

5. When referring to a boy, say “lad”. When referring to a girl, say “lass”. Examples:

Argh! Ye have got a fine young lad workin’ with ye.

Argh! Ye have got a fine young lass workin’ with ye.

6.  Never say “you” or “your”. Say “ye” instead. Example:

Argh! Ye be a fine worker.

7. Instead of saying “are” or “is”, say “be”. Example:

Argh! That be a tall ship!

Do not do this if you are saying something like this, though:

Argh! Ye aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed, are ye?

8. When saying a present tense verb with “ing” at the end, take away the “g” and add an apostrophe (‘). Note that this does not apply to words like “sing” or “bring”. Example:
Argh! Ye have great skills in cookin’.

Argh! That be how to speak the Pirate Language. Maybe ye should make some comments in the Pirate Language. It be fun! Thank ye for taking the time to read this post. Me be hopin’ that ye can fluently speak the Pirate Language now!

Argh! Keep on swimmin’!

– Argh! Hadger

P.S. Argh! Me be stealin’ ye cream soda right now. It be tastin’ good so far.

Igloo Style!

21 07 2011

A way to keep your igloo in style is to mix the old with the new, and occasionally  overlapping a few items here and there to make your igloo creative! If you don’t have certain igloo items, mix a few items around to make it look like the item! Also, igloos like the backyard igloo, ignore the snow in the back! Use it as an indoor area!! Example:

What do you think? Let me know in the comments!!

Club Penguin 2011 Island Adverture Party Guide

21 07 2011

Hey, guys! This is Hadger. The 2011 Island Adventure Party is here! It’s great and fun, too!

Anyways, something happened to Rockhopper’s cream soda! He wants us to get it for him. Here is a walkthrough on what to do to give him his cream soda:

First, go to the ship hold. There will be a paper somewhere. Click on that paper.

Then, go to the Ice Berg. Throw snowballs at the shadow that has a red square around it in this picture:

Next, click on the telescope that has a blue square around it. Then, go to the dock.

You will see the following (but without the squares):

Here is how you put the ship together:

1. Put the part of the ship with the purple square around it on the two holders under the other two.

2. Put the one with the light green square around it next to the one with the purple around it so that its left edge touches the left holder.

3. Put the one with the light-blue square around it in between the two that we just placed.

4. Put the one with the red square around it in between the two that you put together using the first two steps.

5. Put the one with brown square around it next to the one that we put on the ship in step 4.

6. Put the one with the dark-blue square around  it on the left shadow of the item that we put on the ship in step 4.

7. Put the one with the pink square around it next to the shadow of the one that we put together in step 6.

8. Put the one with the dark-green square around it on the left edge of the ship.

Once you’re done with that, you will have finished the ship! It should look like this:

See that feather with the red square around it? Click that. Then, go to the Tree Forts (go up the latter in the forest). You will see this:

Once the birds have stopped moving, you will have to click on the drums. Here is what you have to click on:

1. First, click on the yellow drum, the blue drum, then the yellow drum again.

2. Once the birds have stopped moving again, click on the yellow drum, the blue drum, the yellow drum again, then the orange drum.

3. Once the birds have stopped moving again, click on the yellow drum, the blue drum, the yellow drum again, the orange drum, then the oddly colored drum.

After that, a key will appear in the nest. In the picture, there is a light-blue square around the key. Click the key. Then, go to the cove. You will see this (except you won’t see the treasure chests, and there will not be dig marks on the red X):

On the red X, wear the hat that you drill with and dance (which makes you drill). Note that using the shovel might work, although I drilled.

Once that happens, a hat will start floating out of the treasure chest. Click on that hat. Then, not only will you have earned 4 pins, earned a new hat, earned the Music Maestro stamp, and have helped Rockhopper, but you also will be able to say that you completed the quest to get Rockhopper’s cream soda! 😀

There is also a item that costs 50 coins in the Mermaid Lake. It is a blue crab suit!

Put on the blue crab suit. Then, you can play a game with the crab! If you find the correct gem three times, a suit will appear next to the crab! Click on the suit, and you will have earned the Commander Coat!

Anyways, if you go to the beach, you will see that Rockhopper’s ship is docked! You can search for Rockhopper! Here are some tips on finding him:

1. Rockhopper will usually go in servers with four or five bars.

2. Rockhopper will usually stay in a server for 10-15 minutes.

3. Rockhopper can go anywhere on the island, not just in the Migrator, so if he’s not somewhere on the Migrator, he still might be somewhere on the island!

4. Trackers are never updated by bots. They are updated by real people, so they may or may not be correct.

You can use our chat (link: xat.com/igloocp) to help us find Rockhopper or to find Rockhopper yourself. If you find Rockhopper, please tell us there. Please do not lie about Rockhopper’s location, though.

You will also notice that there is a door with a lock on it. To get into it, you have to get a certain pin. Don’t worry, though! The pin will always be available.

Here is how to get the pin:

1. Go to the Book Room (the upstairs room of the Coffee Shop).

2. Click on the “Tales and Stories” button at the bottom-right corner of the Club Penguin screen.

3. Click on the last book (“The Journal of Captain Rockhopper”). Keep going to the next page until you get to the end of the book. Click on the button that says “Captain’s Quarters”. When it asks you if you would like to pick up the pin, click “Yes”. Then, you will be able to enter the Captain’s Quarters!

Here are more fun things about the party:

1. If you go to the Ice Berg and try to throw a snowball, you will throw a fish instead!

2. Klutzy can be found in many places around the island. Try to see how many times you can find him!

3. In the Captain’s Quarters, you can play a game called “Treasure Hunt”. Not only is it pretty fun, but stamps have been added for the game, too!

4. In the Ship Hold, you can buy some of Rockhopper’s items by clicking on the paper at the bottom-right corner of the Club Penguin screen. There is even a free one!

5. Around the island, there are many cannons that can be fired by putting your mouse-pointer on them. Try to see how many you can find!

6. In the tree forts, there is a plant that you can feed. As you feed it, it will grow and grow and grow. See what happens when you feed it too much!

7. If you go to the cove or to the beach, you will see a small boat. Go in them!

8. In the place that the boats lead to, there are cannons that can be fired in a fun and unique way. If you fire them, you can destroy the other ship! You can fire the yellow ship’s cannons by going on the squares to the left of each one. You can fire the red ship’s cannons by throwing snowballs into them. Repair your ship by drilling at the places where the ship is broken.

Hopefully, this guide has helped you to be able to fully experience the fun of the 2011 Island Adventure Party! Comment below on what you think of the 2011 Island Adventure Party! 😀
