Lips like buds in spring
split. Winter has released us
from its abstinence.

This drawing took approximately 4 hours. I used a 4B graphite pencil on Strathmore drawing paper.

Charcoal on paper. Took approximately three hours.
An arrow of sun
slips through the drapes. I wake up
to your mouth hungry.
The night feels muscled—
its arms snake around my waist.
Darkness fills my lungs.
The language of sweat
speaks across my chest. Words drip
into the bedsheets.

I’ve decided to start posting my art on this blog along with my erotic writing. This is a charcoal sketch I did yesterday.
Can a kiss weaken
A righteous mind? Dogged weeds
Split the mute concrete.
