Isn´t this too cute?  As...

He was far away, so... sorry it´s blurry...

This for ...

The internet series

"These mathematicians changed the world

Pythagoras (570–495 BC)
Pythagoras is best known for the Pythagorean theorem, which is now one of the cornerstones of geometry. His contributions changed the way mathematicians think and understand triangular relationships."

FFO With Superpowers

With this wonderful doctor I join Nicole´s FFO - doesn´t it make you smile big?

And for Gilenna:

Here not really sure if funny or mean, but most laugh, so: Funny.

Even better

Now some "regular" funnies, how about that?

Speaking of dogs.... "The shortage of skilled workers is noticeable everywhere."

Kermit ... turn on the sound, please! And meet Sandra! Oh, I love her.

Heron of Alexandria (c. 10–70 AD)

Heron of Alexandria was an ancient Greek mathematician and engineer. He discovered the square root of numbers, and in modern mathematics his formula is known as Heron's theorem."

Henry, It Was A Wonderful Year!

So, when I was in the city I followed tradition and gave Henry my thank you.
Darn it. I thought!!! I move slow with the camera. It must have a secret speed-it-up-button!
Maybe I go later today to try again - Henry sure loves people filming him and saying thank you and then I will be sloooooow and re-post! It´s a maybe.

Snow? Not much longer! Today -6C / 21F. Soon:

Reckon again a visit to Perth Zoo makes no sense. Last time... "animals can hide in the shade" - they did!

"These mathematicians changed the world

Hypatia (355–415) Hypatia, the first female mathematician whose life is relatively well documented, was an important thinker in Alexandria. She taught philosophy and astronomy."

Well, Henry 🦁, let´s look forward ...

... for all of us, no matter where you are.

I Admit it!

Saw this on my way home on a Litfaßsäule or Advertising column, as you call it.
And no. I never read the books, nor saw the movies - it is just not my genre - don´t hate me, I know there are many, many fans out there.

Kids pay 50% less in Summer. But, as this is Braunschweig it may refer to Summer 2025!
Same with the Gospel Concert, I got all excited last December then saw. Oh, 2024.
I love my city, I do - but oh so often you learn about events when they are over.

Like we missed the Buskers festival. And read about how few people came to the re-opening of our Airport - Ingo sure would´ve LOVED to go there!

This is for Tom´s Signs2.

"These mathematicians changed the world

 Eratosthenes (276–195 BC)

Eratosthenes was known for his incredibly precise calculations. Over 2,000 years ago, he calculated the circumference of the Earth and the tilt of the Earth's axis with pinpoint accuracy."

Wow, huh!!!!! Pinpoint accuracy!

Hope This Goes For Singapore Airlines, Too

Other I at least know what to ask for as alternative...

For T-Day just scroll down...

T STands For Tired

With this forest berries drink I join Elizabeth´s T.

The journal:

MondayFound an interesting site about our city, on Electrification it says: "As early as 1897, for example, the first electric tram ran from Augustplatz in Braunschweig to the district administration office in Wolfenbüttel."  - no wonder fate brought me there!
AI says the first one in Germany was in Berlin 1811 and came from...Siemens! That´s where I started with a train.
Here is another gem: "The development of a vertically launching rocket is Johannes Winkler's lasting achievement in the history of space travel." He did this in Braunschweig.

Tuesday: I feel sick. Oh, please nothing serious before the trip!

Wednesday: Still sick but a bit better. Nothing but surfing and watching series.

Thursday:  Better.  Still doing "nothing".

Friday:  Nearly good. Doing "nothing".

For River: our red kitchen:

In our old apartment it took her Daddy as long to spot the painting on the ceiling (Ingo has the best ideas, right?!!)

Weekend: Saturday: Good, apart from Rotz and now dry coughing, too, off to the pharmacy to get meds. Facebook´d a bit.
Trump praised  the Liberian leader for his good English and asked him where he learned that. It´s the national language in Liberia.
I sincerely hope that was an AI-joke.
Ingo saved the journey back from Frankfurt. Jippeee.
Sunday: Got up 04:30 cause Ingo complained I snore. Ya. With FAT Rotz - nose closed etc.
I remember I slept in the living room on a cot uncomfortable for weeks cause of his snoring but that is another story.
New neighbors ...stomping around.
Dentist tomorrow. There is nothing worse for me.

Ernie - Are You There?

Another Banksy-mural from the exhibit in Hanover we went to in January 2025.

AI says: "Banksy's 'Rubber Ducky' (or 'Duck and Shark') uses the innocent image of a child's bath toy with a hidden shark fin to critique consumerism, the corruption of innocence, and threats to childhood in a commercialized world."

With this I join Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.

"These mathematicians changed the world

Euclid (325–265 BC)
Euclid, a Greek mathematician from Alexandria, is considered today to be the 'father of geometry', and many of his theorems are still used today."

Amazing, isn´t it? Sooooo long ago and in use still.

Henry 🦁

Have a good start to the week. Mine not so much. Dentist.
