[1: 2,099 of 10,000] My Favorite Season

In Journal on November 12, 2025 at 5:16 PM

My favorite season is CHRISTMAS! It has a magical spirit that tugs at all my heartstrings in just the right places. Writing this blog post already stirs warm and loving feelings that make me truly smile.

I was at the Mall of the Emirates last Friday, and the Christmas Spirit is lingering in the air. New York City is not really my cup of tea, but when I spent Christmas there last year, it was different; the city became kinder, jollier, and beautiful.

So, my favorite season is not Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, it’s Christmas Season, where decorations are up, hearts are open, souls are hopeful, and gifts are flowing.

[1: 2,098 of 10,000] Moving Pictures

I adore moving pictures —television shows or movies that tell a fantastic story. Most of all, I love that they let me visualize a life I may never live, live vicariously through them, or extract wisdom from them. In a short time, especially when everything is done right, I immerse myself in a world that lets me feel things and act on something radical in my reality.

I’m currently watching THIS IS US, and it gives so many layers of lives, back and forth in different timelines, and it’s helping me think of my next steps. A life well lived, full of people who love one another, and having a fulfilled purpose.

My inner psyche loves movies. I get to live many lives without moving from my couch, yet my emotions and thoughts wander to the depths of my understanding.

I watched as every philosophical insight from the scenes is squeezed out, and it makes sense of how I live my life. It was never a coincidence that I gravitated to a certain film and allotted hours to it. I was grappling for an answer to my questions that keep me fascinated, hence why I am still alive.

The makeup of my inner world is reflected in my outer world, and if I don’t like what I see, I can change it.
