Everyone who saw the title of this post (and that is everyone) probably knows what this is about; Quitting.
Well, sadly I must say that I quit my Club Penguin Cheats | Secrets | News blog! It’s just getting very boring. I don’t want to post (almost) everyday, and when I’m on the computer I don’t always want to check out Club Penguin. Club Penguin should just be a game, a hobby. Not an obsession. It’s fun to play now and then. And it’s fun to check out a blog with secrets, cheats and help. But once you make one of your own, you have a great responsibility. You want your website to be accurate and fast. The last few weeks I haven’t been posting some new things or posted them the next day. You can’t keep up with that. And people will say: “Oh, that’s that blog with yesterday’s news.” or “You’d better not go to that site if you want the latest news!” So if you have or want to make a blog about any topic that involves frequent updating, where you’ll have to post it as soon as possible, be sure that you have enough spare time and that you really want to do this. For me, this went good two years long. When I first made my blog, back in March 2007, I was really excited. Nobody knew who I was and if it wasn’t a success then it wouldn’t be a whole disappointment to the world. Also, I didn’t have a lot of hits or fame (or notoriety), so I was aching to get those aspects of blogging. Once everything went perfect it was, well, just perfect! My hits were doing well and, even though I never thought I was famous on Club Penguin, I was! The last couple of months my views were getting less, a lot less. From about a thousand hits a day, to only two- or three hundred. As I said before, it just wasn’t fun blogging anymore. So, unfortunately, I decide to quit.
I have enjoyed blogging and I am happy that I achieved more than 200.000 hits. I have seen these great blogs and met these great people. All these times I wanted to be a member on Club Penguin and I still haven’t been one, ever! I always wanted to get a domain or custom CSS, but who cares now? I don’t.
To all the people who check out this blog daily for all of Club Penguin’s updates, I’m sorry. You’ll need to find another blog that you’ll always visit.
If you’re wondering what I’m going to do with my blog. I’m keeping it like this. No one else will get it, haha! I might return someday, and then I’ll need it!
I’m only quitting blogging, NOT videos or Club Penguin. I’ll still go on CP from time to time checking out a party or just chilling. And I won’t have to worry about posting any stuff, especially those damn newspapers! I will also continue making videos on YouTube, mainly Club Penguin music videos. Check out my channel here. Making a video also takes long but you can see it as a project and there’s no expiration date. Blogging is what filled up most of my time since it was so often. So if you want to meet Jellyboard, he’ll still be online on Club Penguin (mainly the servers Frozen, Mammoth or Sleet).
