Digging deeply through

why i write this title of story was because i had a good case about a woman 56 yo with symptom rapid vomiting, constipation, anorexia and decrease of body weight for a week. The symptom worsening after she drank soft drink coca cola and her abdomen distend and feel tense. She had no flatus after a week.

She had drugs for some medicine with paramedics for injection vitamin and analgesic but nothing happened or the pain doesn’t decrease for any reason. the she goes to the Puskesmas where I work here. when she came in I ask for the medical history and she had past surgery for gynecologic case 15 years ago. so i suggest that maybe it has any relation with the illness today.

when I do physical examination, especially with abdomen auscultation I found no bowel sound and when I did rectal toucher I found my finger has no touch rigidity in contraction of the bowel movement and the bowel collapse and my finger can’t move through the upper bowel.

so i suggesting it was an obstructive case, maybe because of the past history of the surgery or the new case. so try to make the letter to the hospital for the better medication.

after 3 days I ask my paramedics and she explain that the patient has got the surgery and the case was obstructive case. Thanks God I have helped the patient.
