Where We Come From?

Roughly 560 million years ago (in our idea of time) in 2nd Harmonic Density of what is our own 15 dimensional matrix there was Terra.

The race Turaneusiam created us. The idea was to create a super-proto type of being that could embody a soul AND an over-soul. Imagine you being you and with your personal soul here on earth while the real you or over-soul lies somewhere asleep. Only awaiting the physical death to actually be reborn or awakened. Turaneusiam created and spliced together many of the best that other races had to offer so that we as a special proto-super type of being could exist in 12 of our 15D matrix. Literally embody 12 of our 15 possible dimensions in which we are a part of. WE were constructed as a type of universal library and with the 12 strands of DNA Turaneusiam had. The Guardians of planet Terra. Guardians and mediators.

Many things happened in between but under the direction of Azurites of the RA Confederacy approimately 12 BC, the 12th level avatar, a pure Taran Turaneusiam – 1 Soul Essence was born outside of Bethlehem in a private residence to a Blue Flame Melchizedek – a Hebrew Essene mother and a Blue Flame Melchizedek – Hibiru cloister father (Sanada)

Up, up, and away!

Went to a higher altitude today and snapped some nice images. At the highest altitude (seen below) was perhaps 1400 feet. This is more than twice the height of the St. Louis Gateway Arch (which I have been up in more times than I can count. I lived across the river in Alton, IL as a young person)which arch stands at 630 feet. This image is the western edge of Florence, SC.

Surreal Shoot – Gels and Creative lighting.

Sometimes we photographers get to shoot what we want to shoot. I had this concept of a surreal-type shoot in mind for several months. You know, when you get an idea in your head that won’t go away? I knew I wanted a set but I wanted to keep it simple. Also it took some time to find the right model to pull it off. Delaney is a high school student and has been into goth-type dress and look for some time. She also had that edge I was looking for in this particular shoot and was recruited quickly. THankS for your help Delaney! I found the old salmon-colored chair at an antique/thrift store for $65 and the old window cost me $10 minus the matching paint from Lowes. It was also an opportune time to test out my new hazer 1DX and new fogger, Mister Cool II. I began the shoot with my workhorse body Canon 7D Mark II with the nifty fifty attached. Its interesting to note that originally I was planning on a Savage seamless black paper sweep but ended up finding a great deal on the 10×20 used canvas background online which arrived only days before the shoot. I LOVE LARGE canvas backgrounds and even have a custom David Maheau but any pro can tell you that large canvas backgrounds can get very expensive. I threw a couple blue gels on some LED work-lights onto the far out background which seemed to help create that dark strange ambience I was aiming for. I utilized my S1 strobes. One as a key light on the right with a large rectangular soft-box attached. The other strobe had a snoot attached and was aimed directly at her fiery red hair. The modeling lamps on the S1’s (like many others) are not very bright so I turned on the IR focus assist on my 7D which I quickly learned only worked well if my subject was near the center of the frame. (Photographer see manual, LOL) We rolled the fog and the Mister Cool II worked fine. I made use of a Dracast LED video light with a Rosco gel over it camera left (for the fog) on the floor and my new and compact MC Aputure light, camera right, on the floor. I actually matched the color of the models green dress with this really cool light which has a color matching feature! (I really like this little light and can hardly wait to use it more) Studio 63 is in Florence, SC.

After striking the first set I pulled out a white Savage seamless sweep. I was in a hurry to get another session in (running out of time) so I put a Rosco pink gel over my old fresnal lens/light to illuminate the background. The hazer worked fine and seemed to give Delaney an ethereal quality as well as a softer quality. I also used my 24-70 mm Canon L lens but unfortunately didn’t have time to try some shots with my 24mm prime. (Maybe next time) Total shoot time was approximately 70-75 minutes. This was my first time using gels.

Cancel Culture

Just a post that I commented today about an article on Fox about discussing the Cancel Culture here in the US

Truth is the cancel culture advocates have been systematically dismantling the foundational precepts that the USA was founded upon now for more than 50 years. The fundamental idea that our rights are derived from our creator and not man has long been under attack.

Life (taken away instantly by abortion) Liberty (mass electronic surveillance everywhere) and the pursuit of happiness (made more difficult each year as fundamental rights are abused or taken away) is under assault. America is trending towards socialism.

Harvest Fest Portraits

These shots are from the 2019 Lake City Church of God Harvest Fest. I feel its important to give back to the universe in some small way so I set up a background in one of the Sunday School rooms, bring my C-Stands, light modifiers, lights, and my old workhorse body; Canon 7D Mark II. This was my fourth year doing this for the church and kids.

The church had a good turn out and it was the first time for me using one of those cheap vinyl backgrounds but the kids loved it. I utilized battery operated S1’s. One 24×24 soft box as a key light on my right and a 12×55 strip box (left of subject) which I covered with a red gel for some colored rim lighting. You can see the red light in some, not all of the shots because people were moving through so quickly I just didn’t have time to adjust every shot. Anyway here they are!

Urban Teen Series with GRACIE

This shoot was part of genre-based idea I had. I call it the Urban Teen Series. Creative lighting elements were employed to convey different moods and a melancholy-type emotional impact. I was looking for a runaway teen in the city look. Its not nearly as cinematic as I had hoped but it was, after all, a trial run. I am still working out the creative lighting aspects with my new lights and modifiers. Getting more comfortable with your equipment is crucial. Especially when you only have a limited time to shoot. This day I had about 90 minutes but managed 3 locations nearby in the city. Thank You to our lovely model Gracie and her Father for allowing me to share these portraits with my fellow VLOG peeps!

Coming Soon. Gracie has agreed to a Graveyard shoot. The location has been selected for some time and the graveyard site I will be shooting in was in a feature movie. I will be using my gels, more lights, and other fun stuff! I will elaborate more later. Stay tuned. _ JD
