  • The Trio And Thank You!

    The Trio And Thank You!

It took awhile for me to say,

    My two best friends,

    Gift you their all,

You know their names, allow me to say.

    You know Carla in Ghana,

    My friend so dear,

    She is the teacher,

    Her days are blessed.

    Then there’s Julianna,

    The mum of four,

    She holds nothing back,

    Just tips to help.

    Each day we chat,

    Each day we try,

    To bring truth here,

    And show no fear.

So do engage and let us know,

If pleased you are, to hear such truths,

We shared it all, to build real bridges,

We love you all, across life’s ridges.

    Thank You 🙏

Days like this, make me smile,

Days like this, brings me bliss,

Days like tppphis, seems so short,

Days like this, fills my heart.

Days like this, won’t last long,

Days like this, change my mind,

Days like this, spring is kind,

Days like this, brings me life.

Days like this, heals my wounds,

  • Fishing For Time

It please me so, to sit and wait,
A hat to wear, my rod to bear,
The bait is hooked, the trap is set,
Now all to do, is wait and stare.

Upon this pier, its woods so old,
My seat is hard, my thoughts mislay,
The heat is scorching, my skin now tans,
My shirt is soaked, with sweat around.

I feel so tense, my mind of wonder,
I can’t sit still, my gut is rumbled,
My throat feels dry, a drink is needed,
The rum hits home, my mood elated.

The sun dips low, in skies above me,
The stars now show, my bait before me,
No fish to take, my dinner evades me,
My wish now spoken, in words of prayer.

So still I wait, no time be regretted,
A path was chosen, for me I’m hoping,
To live life well, no need for rushing,
The bait sinks deep, the trap is taken.

  • A Good Friend!

I wished him well, this friend of mine,
He packed his bags, the past behind,
With head now bold, no fear to hold,
He shook my hand, his path to mold.

For ten long years, we walked in two,
We shared life’s joys, with bitterness too,
We fought life’s hell, to find our place,
With hope in front, and yesterday’s sorrows behind.

I told him things, long held inside,
I showed him Grace, that love of mine,
We dined at nine, with laughter in kind,
The wine flowed on, our friendship so strong.

The years passed by, our teens now gone,
With a wife awaiting, your hands for taking,
You found true love, my happiness in doves,
With a kiss you sealed, your future now found.

I walk these streets, with time still rushed,
My courage to meet, my moment I’ve missed,
Your place now sound, with love around,
My Grace to bind, my future unkind.

With tears I cry, in sadness and want,
A friend I’ve lost, my past undone,
A face too dull, tomorrow to burn,
I wish him well, this friend I miss.

  • The Fear To Say!

Some sing, some dance to please the rest,
Others toy, we frown to state our case,
Few yelled, men act to show their fame,
I watched, they smiled to read my best.

Sun shines this day, too bright and zest,
Mind fresh from rest, its best undone,
Flesh out to test, their tan compress,
They smile today, for spring express.

Attitudes change with time, for stress is less,
Wings spread to fly, no frost to stop,
Skies clear above, no clouds to impress,
Hope high within, this life once sinned.

My words so mixed, it sends you near,
My gift this day, some dare to stare,
My mind so full, you choose to read,
My hope in you, you smile and care.

  • Winter Fades & Summer Comes!

    Standing here, faces pale,
    Winter’s cold, summer’s warmth,
    Gentle breeze, stormy rain,
    Singing praise, spinning tales.

I knew a man, who spoke with heart,
He showed life’s pain, and searched hope’s gain,
He favored love, but laid no bridge,
For want to self, to please the rest.

He wore his shame, unfazed by blame,
He made no noise, just toiled in vain,
To please himself, he pleased them first,
To stop a fight, he closed his mind.

They found no wrong, within his veins,
He sort no pity, upon life’s kitty,
They frowned with haste, he turned with praise,
To cut him down, they wished him harm.

He asked no reward, when Grace came to town,
They fell down hard, when Grace swung her sword,
He tried to plead, when Grace lowered their knees,
For true was he, to they who mislead.

They found no fault, in him who begged,
They humbled their minds, to shower their love,
He asked no wage, just walked on tall,
They banished their fear, and welcomed him here.

    Chasing tales, spinning webs,
    Summer’s sun, flowers rise,
    Winter’s wind, heading south,
    Standing still, seeking hope.

  • Must Change My Ways…

I found no peace, I did not rest,
I think this space, as got me test,
I rush all day, my mind protest,
    I cannot wait, I won’t distress.

Around me now, my sides all pressed,
The air compress, my lungs suppress,
I no not why, my days so stress,
I see no wrong, my want of less.

I sort no fame, about life’s game,
I shone no light, on me this night,
I walk not free, in fields of trees,
I can’t escape, this fate in cape.

I walk then run, the sun now turns,
My cage undone, my rage is gone,
I spread my arms, my wings unformed,
I seek a peep, in times of meek.

I do not claim, to be dismayed,
I twist my world, to be involved,
For want of gain, this must be main,
I call you names, my mind insane.

  • Within My Face…..

They keep on coming, I can’t explain why.
In search of what, my norm revealing all.
They read and view, their minds thinking still,
I know not why, their time is spent here?

I face the world, its ways are often wide,
I shared so much, their lust wanting more,
They look and judge, my ways without knowing why,
I just march on, for time is coming soon.

For long I’ve cried, for unity amongst us,
But greed took hold, your pride always disguised,
I fled in shame, your nature unto me,
“You faked your ways,” my heart often said.

So learn again, the grace once we shared,
My face shall shine, with joy without end,
We stand unite, with hands fasten and bond,
Our wounds shall heal, for God loves us still.
