I tried to convince myself that I could handle it on my own. However, It got to a point where I could no longer ignore what was going on with my health. 18. Add 10 or more items to my bucket list – yes, I added a bunch of items because I decided to freeze adding new items to my list for five years so this year I made a bunch of additions to my list. Bucket list items I crossed off in 2025

Hello, my bucket list friends! I’m super excited to write this post about the bucket list items I crossed off last year. Since I’m very behind on my regular posts ,you may not know about some of these items yet but I’m excited to share them with you. In November, I went on a road trip and I crossed off a list item that I’m very happy about. I also crossed off some of my more simple list Items like making a Met’s themed bracelet. With all being said let’s get to it!!

37. Get a tattoo of a starfish – I have wanted to do this for years and this year was the year that I finally did it. While on vacation in Las Vegas, I went to a tattoo shop  that was at the hotel we were staying at. I got a very beautiful and colorful starfish on my leg. It is one of my favorite tattoos that I have!

326. Go to an ice bar – I also crossed off this item while was on vacation in Las Vegas. I went to the minus 5 ice bar. This was a super fun experience that I highly recommend doing if you get the chance. I loved taking pictures here.

336. Make Pinterest worthy chalk art – This was so much fun. In July my friend and I went to a park and made chalk art. I was so happy with the way some of it looked especially the ice cream cone that I drew. I did post it to Pinterest to hopefully inspire others.

351. Get a Philippians 4:13 tattoo – When I got my starfish tattoo in Las Vegas, I got Philippians 4:13 written above it. This is one of my favorite Bible verses and I love having it as a part of my tattoo collection.

341. Get a Cam Squishmallow – Cam is the main squishmallow and I did not have him in my collection so I added it to my list. My friend got it for me when her work had a sale. She sent me a picture asking me I wanted anything that was at the sale. I was so excited when I was Cam in the photo. I asked her to get him for me and she did. It turned out that it was a larger size than I thought . I was so excited when she gave him to me.

355. Paint or draw Cooper – During the summer I drew a very cute picture of my very cute cat Cooper. I found a drawing guide on Pinterest and I followed it but I did struggle a bit to get it the way a wanted however when I was done I was happy with the way it looked. I enjoyed crossing this item off of my list.

357. Go to the Hoover Dam – I also did this while I was on vacation to Las Vegas . I booked a tour with a company called comedy on deck . This was a great choice. The tour bus picked us up and took us on a wonderful adventure. I really enjoyed getting to see the Hoover dam . The tour was amazing and I highly recommend it.

370. Make a Mets inspired bracelet – In 2025 I became a Mets fan. I may be a new fan but I am a true fan. I have a Mets hat and two shirts but I wanted to do something creative to show my love for my team. I had fun making two bracelets with baseball beads and Mets colors.

362. Ride the high roller wheel at night – I also did this during my trip to Las Vegas. I love the high roller wheel but I had only done it during the day before this trip . I really wanted to see all the lights from the wheel and I’m so glad that I did. It was a beautiful view.

358. Take a picture with the 7 magic mountains. – This was also done during my Las Vegas vacation.  This was such an interesting art installation. I’m so glad I got to see it. I had so much fun taking pictures here. I’m so glad I put this on my list.

293. Go to salvation mountain – I crossed off this list item during a road trip in November.  This was one of those items that required travel to an area that is pretty remote.

Thank you for reading about the list items that I crossed off in 2025! I’m excited to see what items I cross off in 2026. I hope all of you have a wonderful 2026.

I’m still going to catch up with my 2025 blog posts but I will also be writing about my adventures in 2026 at the same time to prevent me from getting even more behind. 2025 was a year that was full of adventure, learning , resilience, creativity, and most of all faith. I got back into teaching Sunday school and I attended two wreath making events at my church. I’m looking forward to all the blessings that 2026 has in store. I hope all of you had a blessed year.

July 2025 road trip adventure part 4

Hello, my bucket list friends! It is time for the last post about my Northern California road trip. This road trip was a lot of fun and I’ve enjoyed writing about it. In this post I will write about visiting the Trees of mystery and camping and more. Now Let’s get to it!

July 17th – This was the last full day of our trip before driving home the next day. Our day started off with a boat tour. During the boat tour we got to see a lot of birds. I enjoyed this fun adventure and I’m we did this activity. Our next activity was the Trees of Mystery and it was one of my favorite activities that we did on our road trip. There is a lot to see at the Trees of Mystery including fun statues. I really liked the large squirrel statue. There were also some bouncy bridges that I got to walk across. There were so many fun sculptures and displays to see here. I also loved the Bear sculpture! Also there is really nice gift shop here where I got some fun souvenirs. This such a fun place to explore I highly recommend visiting The Trees of Mystery . After going to the Trees of Mystery we got lunch and then we went on another hike and saw more beautiful views of the ocean. After our walk we went to a Walmart. since we were staying in a camping trailer that night we needed to get some food to have for dinner that night. While at Walmart I got some stickers and some animal shaped erasers. That night we took a walk around the campground. I had not gone camping in a long time so it was nice to spend a night at a campground. It was a good place to spend our last night of vacation.

July 18th – This was the day that we drove back home. We woke up, packed up, and got on the road. We went on one more walk in the Redwoods before we stopped in Ferndale for coffee and a visit to the general store where I got a post card and a magnet that is shaped like a cow. Ferndale is a very cute town and I hope that I get to go back there someday when I have more time to explore. After that we made the long drive back home. It was a wonderful summer road trip and I’m so glad to that got to see some amazing places in Northern California.

July 2025 road trip adventure part 3

Hello, my bucket list friends. I’ve enjoyed remembering my July road trip as I write each blog post about it However, I’m very excited to write this blog post because I will get to write about going to the zoo. I love getting to explore different zoos and On this road trip I got to go the Sequoia Park Zoo.  It was a truly wonderful zoo and I can’t wait to tell you more about it so let’s get to it!

July 16, 2025

The sequoia park zoo was our first adventure on this day. This zoo was in a really great location right next to a very cute park. When we entered the zoo, the first animal we saw were flamingos. I love flamingos. They are so fun to watch and  they are truly beautiful animals. I also got to see an owl , a bear , other birds,  some barnyard animals and more. My favorite thing here was the red wood skywalk. The skywalk is a  walkway that includes bridges. This is a great place to take pictures and get a good view of the beautiful redwoods. There was also a gift shop here where I got a plush flamingo and some other fun zoo souvenirs as well. After the zoo I went to the park where I got to go down a slide. And I took a picture
With a banana slug statue. After our zoo adventure, we went to the Dick Taylor chocolate factory. I really enjoyed going to this chocolate factory. There was a great selection of lots of yummy treats you could buy. I bought some treats of course and some souvenirs. But my favorite thing here was the peppermint tea Latte. It was one of the most amazing drinks. I have ever had in my life. Obviously I highly recommend visiting this chocolate factory. After our visit to the chocolate factory, we went on two more beautiful hikes . One hike that we went on gave us beautiful views of the ocean. On the other hike that we went on was the lady bird Johnson grove trail. There were many beautiful trees on this trail and I remember it being pretty easy overall. I highly recommend this trail for it’s beautiful scenery. this day was a wonderful summer day filled with adventure.
