Well now this blog has survived far longer than 80 percent of my other ones. Amazing. I had lunch with my Best Friend, whom I call Wilson. If you recall from my previous post, I am a fan of House. Well, my BFF is like my Wilson, as James Wilson is to House. I get free Candy, she cleans up after me, gives me rides and we exchange witty remarks. She really blows me away sometimes, I think she is honestly the most interesting person I work with. Don’t get me wrong, I work with a lot of unique individuals but no one stands out more than my Wilson. She keeps me amused and helps the time go bye much faster.
So lunch was good, we went to Denny’s (big spenders), and it was pretty full. I had chicken fingers with celery sticks, and a glass of Lemon tea chiller or something like that. We even had dessert :O Wilson’s chocolate cake looked like it needed some Defibs though, it was pretty lifeless. My strawberry sundae was delicious though, muhahahahaaha. I was going to let her pay, but then I felt bad (another shocker) and paid my share.
It would have been better if I didn’t have to go to work after, but such is life. Not too bad of a day, stayed steady but never got too busy, I like those kind of days. I helped out Loss Prevention Officer as he caught two teenage girls steal some candy. It wasn’t very exciting, I just had to sit in his office as he he did his thing, so that they couldn’t claim that he touched them sexually or anything. Honestly, people do say such stupid things to get themselves out of trouble.
I moved some stuff around the service desk because I got sick of kids and others stealing pop from the machine around the corner, where i can’t see them. Yes, that is right, I moved a coke cooler by myself! It was about medium size, not as big as the average ones you see in corner stores, but pretty heavy still. I had to use a power jack to move a battery rack though, us cashiers weren’t designed for such manual labour 😛
I actually really don’t mind doing stuff like that, helps me focus more. I always feel that the more you ache after you do a job, the better and harder you worked. But I am strange like that.
Oh another interesting thing, a car from the house across the street in the Ghetto (haha) I live in, rolled across the street, clipped the concrete foundation of our porch, and then down the hill in our backyard into the bottom fence. The bastard ran over the poplar tree branches i was going to decorate though 😡 Errrgh. No one got hurt though, so I guess alls well that ends well. Well, another day done, see ya all tomorrow!
