Shadowdark torch timer that lives in your URL bar

Oh boy, another bookmarklet. 

This one puts a timer in the URL bar, at the end of it, and counts down, then alerts you when torches are going out. 

Visually, it plays nice with an open Roll20 tab.

 

 

First, try the 3 second version.

 

Satisfied it's working? Try the hour version. Drag it to your bookmarks bar for later use.

 

All good? Then try the LOST version for shits and giggles.

This one includes symbols from what appears to be a draft page that was never used in the final GOZR RPG. The symbols give good ideas.   Let's look at a sample output:

So there is a creepy Innsmouth-looking wizard in a harbor-side cliff manor. He serves a Dagon-like entity and keeps his pet killer cats fed well with fish. He has started to cause earthquakes that are spreading the waters of the rivers that run through Gooz city's canals. A cultist of a rival god takes an interest in this and recruits the PCs to take care of it by stealing the wizard's Orb of Quakes (an egg from Shmagon's own sack). As the PCs make their way towards their objective quakes drop buildings and gangs taking advantage of the chaos get in their way.

DCCRPG dwarf bookmarklet

If you click this text you should end up with a DCC dwarf that has a fun beard and one of the 50 jobs I blogged a while back because I was sick of samey dwarves. 

You can drag it to your task bar and have it always.

 It was important to me that each dwarf had a beard and shield. 

I was somewhat inspired by the Dwarf stuff James West has done. Head on over there, and here to flesh out those dwarves. Then buy Black Pudding.

I had a think and tried to isolate the kinds of sounds you might find in a GOZR RPG (affil link) monster name, then I figured what the heck, I’ll make yet another bookmarklet, a GOZR monsterator (drag it to your bookmarks toolbar or click it)!

GOZR gooz generator

The following is intended to be put into a bookmarklet. I… dunno how to do javascript things otherwise… If keeping a script in a browser bookmark doesn't work for you, just revisit this page sometime or copy it to a .txt file. 
The bookmarklet: Make a Gooz (drag it to your bookmarks bar or make a new bookmark and copy the link from it, then edit it into your bookmark). You can test it just by clicking it here too.

It will generate a gooz PC for you. You’ll need James West’s GOZR to like, play the game. I really recommend you get the print version. 

Anyhoo, test it out, let me know if it works. If you wanna play GOZR, I am running it on Discord, so, if anyone wants in on that...

 

UPDATE: This bookmarklet has seen a few updates. It has many weapons and names from blog posts and drafts by JV West that I tracked down. It even has needs and deed from the sequel GOZR book that may never come out. A couple weapons (short bow and boomer) are ones I renamed to account for versions of a weapon where the damage was different in print. You may want to excise them from your game for being impure.
