The World Association of Hallyu Studies invites scholars to submit an abstract on their research to the 2026 World Congress for Hallyu Studies, to take place on May 28–30, 2026 at Cheju Halla University on Cheju Island, South Korea. This year’s theme, “Cultural Dynamism in the Digital Age: Toward a Universal Theory of Pop Culture Globalization,” aims to advance theoretical frameworks for understanding the Korean Wave and global pop culture phenomena in the platform capitalism era.
