An Update On Life… August 20, 2007

So, yeah, I know I haven’t updating this thing in a while. I’ve been busy as hell working everyday, and haven’t had many interesting or notable things to write about. However, this weekend was almost as miserable as it could be. My dad decided that we needed a new fence. He also decided that instead of hiring a group of the thousands of cheap, possibly illegal, Mexican workers in Houston, that me and him should do it ourselves. So instead of spending my weekend hanging out with friends or with people from B&B, I spent my weekend building a damn fence, in 100 degree weather, with a hurricane on it’s way…Great idea Dad. 😐
Those who have been patiently waiting for a new webdesign, I’m sorry to say I’m not in any position to be making one anytime soon. Maybe when school starts I’ll have some extra and make something nice, but most likely not until then. 😦
RuneScape-wise, I’ve beeen playing more often than I have in a long time. Slowly I’ve been getting my cooking up, about 100k experience away from level 91 now. I’ve been leveling pretty slowly because I’ve been taking more breaks from it to Castle Wars or to train other skills than I should. I’ll also be training some combat in-between my cooking through slayer (Noobish has me brainwashed :P) to hopefully get it into triple digits (100+).
So, yeah, see you guys around.

After cooking 20k out of my 50k bought lobsters I have reached level 88. Once I have finished cooking the other 30k I should be in-between level 94 and 95. Then I will need 41k more lobsters to reach 99 and finally be done.

Hooray, I’m happy to say I finally got off my lazy ass and decided to make a personal blog for myself. 😀
I still have yet to understand everything WordPress has to offer, but Rome was not built in a day, right? I’m hoping that I’ll be able to keep this blog active and updated on a daily basis, but who knows. So right now, it’s rather miserable in Houston. I swear we’ve had at least 4 weeks of straight rain. As a few of you know, I just got back from my trip to DC and New York and it was loads of fun. DC was pretty much a hands-on history tour and it provided lots of mental pictures for all the historic sites. New York was a city that never seemed to sleep. There was never a lax moment. The sheer number of people in New York was pretty overwhelming, even for me who lives in a city of 7 million. It’s a whole different lifestyle over there.
I’ve been doing some mad cooking training in RuneScape, as I’ve decided on attempting to reach 99 cooking. It’s been a bit of a bore, but in 4 days I’ve gone from 80 to 87 cooking, and have cooked 15k out of my 50k raw lobsters. I missed the screenshot for 87 cookin, but I’ll be sure to catch 88 for you guys.
