Unfortunately I am not currently working here and am unlikely to return to this particular site. I have begun the three month wind down towards deletion.
Due to some serious changes in the way i operate i have decided to focus fully on my brand new website at
It has become clear in the last year that although i enjoy making the Arts web show episodes. They have not reached the level of popularity that frankly i need in order to progress to professional. Mainly because people simply aren’t searching for it.
The Arts web show will continue on Youtube but will no longer have an accompanying blog.
Also since my workload on the internet has increased i no longer have sufficient time to actually work on improving my skills in my creative studies. Something has got to give. Unfortunately it is this blog and my culture spotlight website.
Please to feel free to check out my other site and perhaps even follow. I am doing the same kind of things over there just with a more professional edge.
The site uses disqus comments which seems to be a problem for a few people as regards commenting and i will be looking into alternatives though i will probably remain with disqus as it is good for people commenting through social media sites like facebook.
I have enjoyed my last two and a half years with social blogging, sadly it is a commitment i simply cannot maintain any longer.

My new headquarters
Well people, times is a changing and so is my home (kind of)
I will now be operating principally from my brand spanking new personal/professional web site which is right here.
I have been thinking hard since moving into a new job and home therefore stage in my life about the gut wrenching decision of the future of this blog. In the future i might delete it as i am going the full powered run towards professional. (hopefully i will actually get there) lol
The changes over the next six months are going to be phenomenal. I will still be posting on here but i will not be spending too much time around on this blog so please do head over to my new site and subscribe.

Hey peoples, sorry for the silence recently.
I have been a very busy folk.
I’m afraid i wont be around much at the moment as the heat is now on.
I have so much to do.
Anyhow here are a couple of new videos for you to enjoy.

It is a remake of an old song as i have now closed the youtube account associated with these old performancces.
Sadly it means saying goodbye to works like psycho chef, zombified and the ball puncher plan.
Also i have begun a playlist dedicated to promoting witty snippets, the idea is to produce dozens of catchy videos like this one.

Ok, basically what is keeping me so busy at the moment is that i have in the last month or so started working on a new website, my professional portfolio. In recent months i have come to realise just how much the odds are stacked against me. I have no qualifications, no contacts, no CV and limited cash flow. I also have this problem of not being the only publicly known Richard North. But i am probably the youngest of them all.
The point of the project is to get myself known on a serious level while still retaining my own trademark eccentricities. I have a lot of new equipment to buy and to learn how to use it. But the point is that when i have got to know the new gear and have confidence with it i can use the very same equipment for professional projects. A soundtrack here and poetry reading there. A drawing here, an advert there. You get the gist. lol
Social media is something i have got to know rather well and is there a more powerful tool than that in this modern age? I have now opened accounts on flicker, myspace, and am remodelling my current deviant art and youtube accounts. To do this properly will involve a lot of time invested off line.
So with that in mind, I’ll catch you with another post as soon as i can
