Babycard

This card is for a couple in my street. Their baby came this week. It's a boy. I made this very clean and simple card. That's also the challenge at Allsorts Challenge. And because this is a babycard, I would like to enter it also in the challenge of Creative Card Crew which is 'babies'.

Thinking of you

A card for a good friend. She gave birth to a son a month ago. Everything is fine with the baby but she isn't doing very well. I hope she's better soon so she can enjoy her son for the full 100%!

This card is made with the sketch from The Sugar Bowl. I've used my new papers (no scraps for me, which was their optional theme) from Prima Marketing 'Madeline'. Love these green, brown, blue and pink papers! The sentiment is from Hero Arts again.

Remember to smile today

This card is for one of my colleagues. We all work extremely hard and sometimes you have to be cheered up a little by someone. I hope this card will brighten her day.

I've the sketch from Just Magnolia and hAnglar sTanglar Challenge Blog. Their challenge is 'Fall is in the air' and here in the Netherlands it feels like we have this weather for already the whole summer...


I've used my new paperpad from Prima Marketing which is called 'Reflections'. The waterdrops are covered with Anita's 3D Clear Gloss Finish. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Babycard

I made this babycard for a colleague who gave birth to a son. It's my second babycard (for a boy) in two weeks. Unfortunately I forgot to make a picture from the first card... It was made with the same papers from Basic Grey 'Olivia' as this card.
I've used the sketch from Dutch Card Lovers. I thought it would be an easy one but I really struggled with the sizes of the squares. Finally it turned out well. I would also enter this card into the BasicGrey Challenges which is 'anything goes'.
I've stamped the name with an unknown clearstampset bought years ago at 'Kruidvat' (for the Dutch readers). The blue papers are from DCWV.

Birthday cards

Here I am again! I've had a cardmakingbreak for almost two months. I was so busy and I couldn't get myself to make any cards. Just didn't feel inspiration anymore.

But here are the cards that I made yesterday and today. In September I have to get started in a new class again and so I made these birthdaycards for the kids. I 'only' had to make 16 of them because I will get a very small class but it still is a lot of work :)


I don't know why but I can't make the photo bigger on my blog... I would love to enter this card to the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog. Their challenge this week is 'food & drink'.

Glitz & Glam

Here is today's card made with the sketch from Sketch Saturday. It's for my friend who turns 30 in a few weeks. She gives a party called 'Glitz & Glam' so I thought this would be a perfect card for her birthday!
The papers are from Basic Grey 'Ambrosia'. I've pulled the ribbon out of the eyelets a bit to give it a rich look. Some Shine Gloss on the eyeglasses and rhinestones to give it some Glitz.

Graduate

Every year on the third Saturday of June we celebrate our Family-day. The whole family from my mom's side is comming together today and we will have a day of fun. What we are going to do exactly is still a secret but I will soon find out :) The weather forecast isn't very positive but I hope we won't get VERY much rain... :(

But on with today's card for Sketch Saturday. I've made a graduation card for a colleague who graduated, she's a real teacher now :)
I've used the papers from My Mind's Eye. I've added lots of rhinestones to give it some extra body. I've sticked the sentiment with some foam on the card to give it the right wave-effect. And also the sentiment stays this way even in the mail.

Friends Forever

A bit late but here is my card for Sketch Saturday. I used my new Whiff of Joy stamp called 'Friends Forever - Nora + Ben'. Aren't they a cute couple?
The colors are from the Whiff of Joy challenge. I've set the eyelets with my crop-a-dile, yes I bought one!!
