I hope you will explore my website. It has a wide range of information about wildlife and nature photography. It also showcases my conservation photography work. My wildlife and nature conservation photography projects on my website are about sharing the beauty of and advocating for our ecosystem. It also is about the need for advocating for our wildlife and natural world for our future generations.
My articles section includes some published articles in magazines, blog, or other digital platforms on the website. Some of my earlier articles are those I have written about wildlife photography for my own blog. There are several articles that include photo tips on wildlife photography. You can also find information about certain photo locations and photo gear.

A Short Introduction of Myself
I am a conservationist, wildlife and nature photographer, writer, blogger and storyteller. I share my wildlife images and volunteer on their communications team with Wild Virginia, a non-profit Virginia conservation organization. Also, I research, photograph and write about local conservation photography subjects. As a conservation storyteller, I want to advocate and share my stories and images with others. My hope is to inspire others to appreciate our wildlife and our natural world.
I sell my images as Fine Art Prints. I also offer them as print-on-demand products. This allows me to share the beauty of our animals, diverse habitats, and stunning views.
I have a great passion and love for photography. So, I love to take pictures of wildlife, birds, seascapes and landscapes. And these images are available for you to buy as fine art prints or print-on-demand products.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease and suffered several spinal compression fractures. This has restricted some of my mobility. At times, I use a wheelchair for long distances. Other times, I walk with a cane or a rollator depending on how I feel. But all this hasn’t stopped me from photographing, writing, speaking and advocating.
My Conservation Photography Projects
As a conservation wildlife and nature photographer, I work on important conservation projects in Virginia. This includes advocating for crossings and corridors along with habitat connectivity. Our Commonwealth ranks consistently in the top 10 in wildlife-vehicle collisions, according to State Farm’s annual reports. Many of my images support this advocacy of wildlife crossings. Finally, during the legislature session in January 2025, Virginia finally got funding passed in the budget. This will help allow Virginia to secure federal grants and will allow for funding from donors.
In 2021, I initiated a monarch conservation project in my backyard. I created a habitat oasis for the monarchs with milkweed plants and nectar plants. I documented the monarchs that hosted on my milkweed over these past few years. After creating this initiative, which I called Butterfly Habitat Oasis Project, I was focused mostly on butterflies. I would soon learn that other pollinators were in decline.
So, now I work to keep my backyard habitat oasis pollinator-friendly to all butterflies, bees and other pollinators. I advocate for milkweed’s importance for the monarchs to increase their population. I educate my community on the need for pollinator gardens. I do this through speaking engagements to non-profit organizations, libraries, and others. Furthermore, I through my writing on my blog or by writing magazine magazines. I have photographed the life cycle of the monarch butterfly as well as the black swallowtail butterfly. Over the past few years, I have planted various other butterfly host plants. I hope to attract and photograph different butterflies and their life cycle. So, that I can continue to share these images and behaviors with others.
