He Did It!

What a great day! Mark officially graduated with his Bachelor of Arts Degree today! It was such a wonderful day to spend with family and I am so proud of my sweetheart. Way to go babe! You are AMAZING!!!

Surprise Surprise!

Last weekend I surprised Mark with a night's stay at the Zermatt Resort in Midway! It is amazing... we felt like royalty and like we stepped into the Swiss Alps for a minute. Thanks to his sweet sister we were able to enjoy a combined Graduation, Christmas, and Babymoon all in one! Thanks Jan... we had so much fun!

* One big problem... our batteries died in our camera, so sorry no pics to share...

Sleep Tight

Mark is amazing! Our crib showed up early one morning and within an hour of getting off work that night he had it all put together. He just couldn't wait! We are so excited to welcome our sweet little babe into our family and will keep you update on the progress of our nursery :)

Pumpkin Walk Project

Mark is AMAZING and a celebrity among my students. For one of his senior projects his class was in charge of getting the community more involved with Homecoming week. Our class had the opportunity to participate in the Pumpkin Walk (thanks to Mark) and we painted 11 red pumpkins (Fresno's football team) and 11 blue pumpkins (USU's football team), along with three refs and three coaches.

Big Blue, the USU cheerleaders, and some USU athletes came to our class and helped the students paint the pumpkins. It was honestly the best day of their lives and they had so much fun! Big Blue and the cheerleaders led my class in some cheers and we had one for them as well. Thanks Mark for making third grade the best year ever for these kids. You are the GREATEST!

After our appointment we celebrated with dinner at Chili's and bought "Little Junior" his first set of onesies and the softest blanket in the world! We just can't wait to meet this little man in March!

I have no idea!

Tomorrow is the big day! We are so excited to find out what we are having. I must be a little out of touch, because I really have no idea what our bun in the oven might be. I need to work on that mother's intuition thing...

I just have to say that Mark is going to be the best dad ever! I am so excited to meet our little babe in March and see Mark as a daddy... he is amazing!

Check back with us tomorrow for the big announcement!

Fall Adventures

We are crazy! Mark and I decided to "beef up" our food storage even more this year. So we canned like mad! We canned salsa, tomatoes, pears, peaches, peach syrup, and stocked our freezer with a quarter of a beef and forty pounds of chicken! WOW... that's all I can say is WOW... we are nuts :)

A few weeks ago we went to the musical BIG at the Hale Center Theater and it was so GOOD! We loved it! After that we experienced the amazing IKEA! Mark claims that it was awful and took way too long, but I think he secretly liked it. :) That night we went with my cute cousin Nat, her boyfriend Bryce (no pics), and my brother Kyle to a REAL Salt Lake game and it was so fun. We had such a great weekend and love every chance we get to spend together, and with our families.

Only five more weeks (ha ha ha) until we find out what we are having! We are so excited to find out what our little babe is and can't wait to meet him/her in March. Tell us what you think we are having by taking our poll...

Little Junior

We are so excited to be pregnant and meet our little bundle of joy! To answer some questions from everyone, our little babe is due March 14, 2009 and we will find out what we are having on October 28th!

I really don't have any mother's intuition so far as to the gender of our baby, but we both keep referring to him as Little Junior, so if it is a girl hopefully she won't feel bad.

I am now in my second trimester (13 weeks) and feeling much better. The first little while was rather rough, everything made me nauseous, including our freezer (weird, I know.) It usually sets in at night, but it is getting better :)

I just have to say that Mark is the best husband ever! He has taken such good care of me, and since I haven't felt much like cooking he has pitched in or got take out... what a babe! Thanks for sharing in our excitement, we are so blessed to have great family and friends.

Our Summer Adventures

What a great summer! We have been busy going to Star Valley, the Bar J Wranglers, the Motor Vu Drive In, hanging out with our families, firework shows, and much more. My favorite pics in this slide show are of Mark walking pigs with my family at the farm. What an amazing husband I have... good old Farmer Bubs!

Memories???

I found this idea on another blog and I thought it sounded fun .... so I am copying. We always love to reminisce about the crazy and fun memories Mark and I have with our friends and family.

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I (or you and Mark/Bubs) had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me/him/us a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

Some of your memories with Mark may need to be censored (ha ha ha!), but we can't wait to hear what you remember about us!

Fireworks, Fireworks, and more Fireworks!!

Every year Mark works his tail off for our old bishop doing firework shows. He worked all day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the show here in Logan. We eeked out a quick 1 1/2 hour nap that night and were up and ready to do the show in Jackson at 3:00 am. It is a tough few days, but the end result is totally worth it. Mark... thanks for all of your hard work. I am so lucky to have you!

All of Mark's hard work really does pay off when we get to watch the amazing firework shows. This was the show in Jackson Hole, and it rocked! He worked over fifty hours in four days and got little to no sleep. Thanks babe for all the work you do for our enjoyment.
My cute sisters were so supportive of all the firework fun this weekend!
Big Blue made a special appearance at Romney Stadium before the big show!

We were lucky enough to get an all access pass to the stadium floor... all that hard work really does pay off :)
Our cutest little friend. We got to hang out with this little gal all weekend... she is adorable!

The firework show at Snow King Resort in Jackson Hole, WY. It turned out to be one of the best shows yet! That is not a sun tan line.... my baby sure gets dirty :)

And here he is again... my Asian Sensation! My cute sisters and cousins hanging out with us in Jackson. My sisters have now come to five firework shows and are such a good sports to support Mark and I. We love you gals!

One last HURRAH for Hawaii!

One of our favorite memories of Hawaii was going to the temple and the Polynesian Cultural Center. It has the most amazing feeling in that area.... BYU Hawaii, The Polynesian Cultural Center, and the Laie Temple are all within a few minutes of each other and it is absolutely beautiful!

Mark found his favorite hat in Hawaii... he wore it all through the Honolulu Airport, as well as, the SLC Airport. He got quite the looks... I love my Asian Sensation :)
