Meine Photo-notes

North Jakarta  is another face of jakarta, which population mainly are midlower-class  sailors and Labors. there are many photo-shoot locations there. Me and my buddies picked just 4-5 sites to hunt. so we picked the Museum Fatahillah, Bank History Museum, Bahari Museum, and finally the Sunda Kelapa port. The photo below taken when we were about to end our adventure

another photo-shoot, i call this one as “entering heaven’s gate”. It was an amazing sight, but my camera is not that good so many of the photos went blurry 😦

but as the time goes by we hardly meet each other lately because we are busy working, it’s sad really sad

hi everybody! this is my 2nd post it has been so long since my 1st post. haha sorry, i’ve been pretty busy lately, you know work, courses, etc. and finally i got time to rest myself a bit, and why not post something new to my wordpress.com site? 🙂

sooo… there are some photographs i wanna share with u guys *pfft.. like i have much follower in this site =))*

there are some photos i took at working sites, or somewhere elses which i’ve gone with my photohunter dudes *awesome times* hehe

well i’m gonna wrap the intro, and here are the photos. ENJOY! 😀

the photo above welcomes me in an implicit way, ‘into the woods’ well i think that’s good for this photo title :D. guys, the photo above i’ve taken when i’m in at work, you might asking yourself, what the hell a metallurgist doing in a freaking jungle? haha.. :)) well you know i am currently working in a project to build a plant and right now the project is in a land acquisitioning stage, and i have to identificate the land.

it’s pretty natural jungle there, u could find beauty green-brown combined scenery there. i may say it’s heaven for some panoramic photographers. not only that, the traditional habit and culture there are  still original, authentic and not very much contaminated with the world outside 😀

my second photo taken is entitled ‘ nature’s scratch ‘ well it’s only because the photo mainly focus on the tree’s derma which looks like a many scratches made on its derma

my 3rd photo taken from a park near the dorm i used to stay, entitled ‘ bee’s ass ‘ well i think it’s a pretty picture but i don’t have any delicate fancy name, so i just make it simple and plain ‘ bee’s ass ‘, it is literally describes the photo.. hehehe :p

enough with the pictures taken from the project’s site let’s move our ass to the photohunt session with my college friends, which are richard, paul, fandy, and bintang suryo. well actually there are many places i’ve gone with these guys but in this post i’m going to post the trip where we had gone to monas, prasasti museum, and national museum.

the next photo *actually i forgot the number :p* taken from the national museum, which there were statues aligned vertically and has a historic and cultural meaning. the meaning of its statue is about prosperity back at that time, which focused on farming and agricultural sector that supporting the economical growth.

picture above entitled ‘ frog jar ‘. Taken from the National historic museum, this jar used as an earthquake-warning back then. i forgot how this jar works.. but as far as i know it’s involving a certain marbles, but one thing i’m pretty sure about is this thing works in a pretty mysterious way, well let’s say ‘supernatural’ way cause in this scientific era, scientists and engineers still can not predict when the earthquake may strike. 😮

our next photo taken from the prasasti museum, well actually the prasasti museum unlike any other museums, it’s basically an old-gothic cemetery that has been built since the dutch colonialism, well approximately about 200-300 years ago, when jakarta’s name was batavia. Prasasti museum has a strong gothic-western sensation,well the first time i arrived, i felt this scary dark impression and asked myself ‘dude are you sure?’ haha :p . There were big old trees prevented the sunlight *it was 2 p.m* , dried brown leafs on the ground covering the tombs and statues. So, it was kind of dark back then.

If you are a fan of gothic-western kind of thing, you really have to check out this place. I guarantee, you will have fun exploring gothic stuffs here. 😀

well after the prasasti museum, me and my friends went to monas (jakarta’s national museum)  to cheer things up a bit *well you know the darkness, gothic, spooky things..* haha. The picture above taken at the monas’ park, they were trying to fly a kite. There were many visitors back then, pretty much crowded, but we still having fun :).

here’s another picture taken at monas. a little girl riding a bicycle and i entitle this picture ‘move out bitches!’ lol.

after walking for quiet long distance richard, bintang, and fandy just sat on the middle of monas’ park, chatting 😀 . i call this picture as ‘dwarfs. lol. *sorry dudes hehe..*

well here’s the last picture in this post, taken when the sun sets. Later, me and my friends went to eat some italian made ice cream ‘ragusa’ it’s a legendary ice cream store in the town. it has been there for decades and it was built italian guy and now the store run by the locals. Our country founder, Ir. Soekarno, used to eat here, definitely his favorite ice cream spot that time.

Sightseeing

it has been about a year that i haven’t been hunting photographs with my friends, esp. Paul, Richard, Bintang, and Fandy. We had such great time  spent together back then.

In the picture above, we were at Sunda Kelapa port, North Jakarta. Where traditional ships were berth in there, such a good time and awesome memories. before we went to sunda kelapa we had gone into different places first such as, Kota Tua, and several Museums.
