I have preparied the Imbolc Report on what occured in North America on this day. I observed several divinations on this day both personal and general to what was happening in our world. I created a Brideog or Brighid Doll and gave a bed for Briganti to sleep in while I read her poetry all night. I lit seven candles and prepared one very special candle for her. A long candle stick, often referred to as a “legitimate candle of the dead” by old Santeros from Cuba.
Candle Sticks are apparently the preffered offering for the Dead besides food. I first visited the cemetery I go to and left Oya a nice food offering for her and for Obbá and Yeguá the two Orishas who live inside the cemetery. The reason for this is because one of her festive days is Candlemas. So I asked her to reap all nasty energies. But I also asked her to bless me at the Market place with prosperity and abundance.
This day is used to chase away the spirits of the dead and dark spirits of winter back to the Underworld. So I gave food at the Cemetery as an incentive for the departed and other more dark entities to leave willingly. I asked Oya to take on the task of chasing away the ones who wouldn’t leave of their own accord. I then made my way home. Once I lit every candle, I took a single large candle stick, placed it in a white basin with a little holy water (to snuff the candle out) and then I began taking shots with my phone.
I do this as a form of spirit photography and Sciomancy. Sciomancy is Divination by shadows. The blessed candle will reveal things in the dark through the shadows and tell me the answers to my questions. The pictures revealed dark energies and what I can only describe as Shadow beings exposed by the candle. This had never happened before and I have tried to debunk it a few times by replicating the pictures in the same area with the same type of candle.
The effect could not be replicated. Also, when the candle is snuffed out by the holy water, it’s always gentle. It never makes so much as a hissing noise. This time it made a large pop like a fire cracker. When I took our the left over candle wax to divine, it took on the form of a nasty creature. I didn’t bother to take a picture because it felt nasty.
I disposed of the wax and washed the basin out with more holy water. So far things were not looking good this year. Since then, more signs and omens started appearing even yesterday. That’s why it took me this long to post a blog on it. So let’s start with the Weather.
On the actual day of Imbolc Eve, it was very sunny and fair. Which of course is bad. Because that means winter will stay longer. I prayed and prayed for bad weather. The same day, the US was marshaling their forces all around Venezuela and I expected to hear of an invasion at any moment.
But at Sunset when it officially became Imbolc, I felt tiny drops of cold water as a small, temporary, storm was taking place. It barely lasted a minute or two. But I gave a huge sigh of relief. It was enough to give me hope that winter might leave early this year. Not just so that the violence could stop, but so that the Polar Vortex that is afflicting parts of the country would leave.
People have already frozen to death and these poor animals are being afflicted as well. I wondered if colder weather would happen on Imbolc day. But on the actual day when I brought the Brighid Doll to a sacred pond to complete the festival, it was mostly sunny again. With only a little bit more cold rain drops falling at almost full dark. So, what does this mean? The omens state that it is the matter is inconclusive.
I felt when doing these rituals that the forces of Spring and Winter are still at war with each other. And a clear winner has not been chosen. We know spring will eventually win. But that’s it. Spring might come early, or winter may stay longer.
Only time will tell. This is in line with what the Quimbanderos and Umbanderos have said in this year’s divination. They said that “Fire and Water, Neptune and Mars” would reign this year. A struggle between opposites. I felt that the storm wanted to manifest more.
But something was holding it back. The darker forces of the old year are still holding on. And fighting to remain here. That is why it is imperative that we all do whatever new year’s rituals and offerings there are to assure victory for the spring forces. Our collective prayers and offerings will decide whether the positive forces of change will win out or not.
We need to appeal to the Gods first and foremost and then ask them to empower the spirits of nature to give spring victory. When I mean spring and winter I am also speaking figuratively of Light and Dark, Good and Evil. We all need to get on board with helping the Light win this battle. Dark isn’t necessarily evil. But in this context, based on the divinations, malevolent forces seem to be using the dark of winter to achieve an objective.
And this can have ramifications for us in the future. Better to do our best to prevent this now. Magic is only part of the solution though. We need to accompany faith with action. We need to make serious changes in our lives and do better.
We need to love and be open to getting involved in the world around us. No more hiding in our own little worlds. The good news is, at least those rain drops happened at all. I fully expected the winter to be the clear winner. So we just might kick it’s ass anyway.

The Tai Sui (Grand Duke of Jupiter) for the year 2026 is General Wen Zhe
Happy New Year everyone, let’s hope that this year won’t be as shitty as, ah who the fuck am I kidding? Of course it will shit. Look at the idiots trying to start a war with Venezuela over oil. Yeah, we’re all fucked for the time being. Nothing will change that right now. Well, except maybe people waking up and stopping it.
Are you going to be one of those people? That’s the question of this next nine year cycle that has begone. That’s what we are going to address. Then we will find out who the rulers of this year are. Remember that this article will constantly get updated as I learn about new Gods ruling this year. I will add my own Tarot of the year as well.
According to numerologists, this year is a 1 year. This marks the beginning of a new 9-year cycle. The year 2026 = 2+0+2+6=10, 1+0 =1. Remember that the number 0 in ancient times, magnifies the powers of whatever number it’s with. Yes it symbolizes nothing, the void.
But voids are also filled with creation itself. Empowering whatever number they appear with. Year ones like this, will set the tone for the next nine years. So everything you do this year, programs the rest of the decade. Be forewarned then.
Focus on fresh beginnings and innovation. On creation. On making new plans. And organizing projects. This follows the completion of the last nine year cycle in 2025.
Which was rooted in endings, destruction of old energies, and release. So this is the first thing you need to learn about this year. Do your best to set your intentions. By diligent planning. It doesn’t have to be perfect by any means.
There’s no such thing as a perfect year. Be positive. And turn the negative into a positive. Think of Star Wars for a second. There’s two Jedi Masters who are very popular.
One is Master Mace Windu, the other is his friend Sora Bulq. Windu had a serious problem : his dark side was out of control. He had no balance. So he learned how to channel his dark side in a positive and constructive way. He invented a new fighting style.
He and his friend Sora created a brand new version of the Form VII light saber form. But Form VII isn’t just sword fighting. It’s force fighting as well. Windu and Bulq created a whole new version. Perfected it some might say.
On Mace Windu’s planet, there are creatures called Vaapad.
The Vaapad
They were spider-like entities who were deadly. So fast, that often when killing their prey, they were like a blur. From Wookiepedia, the Star Wars wiki.
” Vaapads were brown ball-shaped, multi-tentacled creatures with two yellow eyes and multiple tentacles used to kill prey. A vaapad attacked by striking its prey with its tentacles so quickly that they were nothing but a blur to the naked eye. There was no way to tell how many tentacles it had unless it was dead. The tentacles varied; most had at least seven, while the largest specimen ever examined had twenty-three, ”
The way Vaapad worked was simple in concept. Mace channeled his rage into his fighting. He allowed himself to enjoy the battle. To channel the necessary power to defeat an enemy. And when that enemy used the dark side, he would turn their own power against them.
Imagine Vaapad as a mirror, or a return to sender spell. A way to deflect harmful energy back to the sender. This is something that has practical use in the real world. You don’t have to fight to use something like it. If you have abilities you use them to take the power away from someone sending you negativity.
You can even use this against retrogrades.
You have the power to turn a negative into a positive. You don’t have to use a return to sender. You can take power away from a harmful situation. And turn it to your advantage. It all starts with you asking the question, how do I do that.
And then letting your mind and spirit guide you. So even if bad things happen this year, I invite you not to feed the darkness. Instead Vaapad it alway. Turn it’s own power against it. And you will triumph.
Use this mirroring technique to build yourself up in the meantime. This can even complement shadow work as well. You can use this to tap into your own shadow self as a way to better understand a situation. And find out how to repel an attack. This is what I have been told by my spirits to tell you.
Tai Sui (Grand Duke of Jupiter) for the year 2026 :
As I say every year, there are different Gods that rule all the years. Each culture has their different versions. Even different types of spirits. In traditional Chinese religion, the God who rules the year is the Grand Duke of the Planet Jupiter. This God will temporarily move to the planet Jupiter for the duration of their rule.
Because Jupiter is the planet of prosperity and power.
In Roman religion, Jupiter is the King of the Gods. This demonstrates the power a Deity of this planet can command. The Tai Sui is one of sixty divine generals in the army of the Jade Emperor. The Emperor chooses who the next Tai Sui will be every year. This is done based on what is happening on Earth.
The cycle is calculated by Chinese astrologers. Each of the sixty generals was once a human being on Earth. They had normal human lives. But attained divine status in death. If one would like to know the status of a year, you would consult astrologers to see who the Tai Sui will be.
The irony is that non military generals, those who were scholars in life, tend to be far worse than the fully military Tai Sui. Because in life, they could influence their provinces with the stroke of a pen. In the afterlife as Gods, they can influence the whole world. So the question is, who is General Wen Zhe? And what kind of year is this looking like?
The Great Deeds of
Wang Yangming
Wang Yangming, Soldier. Scholar. Leader.
I have not been able to verify the human name of General Wen Zhe. But I found a clue to his identity. Apparently, the legend states that on earth he stopped the Prince of Ning rebellion. Using diplomacy and leading the Chinese army. The sixty Deified generals all had human names before.
Sometimes it’s easy to know what they were called on Earth. But for some reason I wasn’t able to totally verify his human name. But, I learned of a mighty politician and scholar named Wang Yangming. Historically, he was the one who stopped the rebellion. Using both the armed forces, and his gift for diplomacy.
So I am making an educated guess that this was the human name for this particular Tai Sui. Wang Yangming was a legendary Chinese philosopher, statesman, and general during the Ming dynasty. He was a pioneer in Neo-Confucianist thought. Focusing on the concept of the unity of knowledge and action. His teachings emphasized the innate ability of all people to distinguish good from evil.
Making a major impact on philosophy and thought in East Asia. Cementing his place in history as one of the greatest thinkers of his time. If not our time as well. And this is among both members of the left and right wing. A true unifying force.
He treated everyone no matter the social status, as thinking beings. Not fools. Whether they were peasants or the Emperor alike. I don’t like that he suppressed peasant rebellions however. As all people have the right to revolt against tyrants.
But to his merit, he asked the emperor to allow amnesty. And he did his best to rehabilitate the Rebels. One of the ways he did this was by helping them rebuild after the rebellion was quelled. So what does all of this tell us? It tells us that at the very least this year is going to contain at least some negative along with the positive.

After reading all this, it’s my belief that we are doubly fucked. Yes I know my writings are sophisticated. You probably want an explanation. This guy was both a general that led an army, and a scholar who shaped public policy. And he’s in many ways one of the most powerful scholars among the sixty generals.
We already covered that the generals who were scholars in life, are worse than the normal generals. This General is both. In his human life, he also worked hard to root out corruption. What this shows me is that there is going to be a long conflict across the globe. Legal battles with good politicians rising against the established orders.
Or at least “more or less” good politicians.
And activists and the people in rebellion are going to fill in the gap. This also tells me the obvious. He was sent to quell rebellions. Which means rebellions might be quelled as well. We may see extreme political repression this year.
Especially for those of us in the US, UK, and India. Places mired in the corruption of the ruling classes and far right. The seeds of rebellion have already been sowed there. That’s what I personally believe is going to happen this year. And it will only get worse.
Though some, like the Feng Shui practitioners at world of Feng Shui, believe he will bring balance and unify to the world. The problem with that is, how will it be done?
Conflicts with the Zodiac Signs

We have entered the year of the fire horse. Or will be on the lunar new year at any rate. And there are some conflicts with the other signs. There are also “side conflicts” with some of the totems. As we are learning here.

The Tai Sui this year will reside in the Southern direction of the home. That also extends to the property obviously (South 2). You need to avoid this area of the home and property like the plague. Do not stay there. Do not make noises or disturb anyone there.
Don’t even cut trees or grass outside in that direction. And for Gods sakes. Do not face that direction. The Tai Sui has a short temper. And he will mess you up if you face him.
Facing him is like looking at your superior square in the eye. It is an act of defiance. You don’t want to anger anyone. Especially a God. Especially a God like Wen Zhe who could stop rebellions on earth as a simple human.
You should also avoid the northwest region within 345° – 15°. Because this is where Sui Po (Year Breaker) is in 2026. So those two regions should be left alone. The full power of the Tai Sui won’t take place until February 4th.
When the lunar new year arrives. This is an explanation of how people are affected negatively by the Tai Sui.

In Feng Shui, Flying Stars are associated with different energies. Some good, others bad. A Feng Shui practitioners uses this information to analyze the good and bad energy inside of places. Such as buildings or general areas. It uses a compass to properly show what direction the bad and good energy is coming from.
Good Directions : Southeast, East, and North East, and Center.
Bad Directions : South, South West, West, and Northwest, as well as North and South.
There are Feng Shui charms that act as both talismans and amulets. The talismans increase the power of the good directions. The Amulets ward away the harm from the bad directions. I am also sharing this lunar calendar for haircuts. The reason there is a calendar for this, is that the crown chakra connects you to the universe.
And blessings. When you take a hair cut on the wrong day, the negative energy associated with day results in a loss of grace. Because you are essentially lowering your defenses. But if you cut your hair on the right day, you remove your troubles. And attract good energy.

The Struggle between Fortuna and the Hermit
My tarot of the year is different. Most people do an individual tarot. Using their birthday numerology to pick a card based on their life path number. And how it relates to the number for the year. I don’t use the numerology for the tarot of the year.
That’s only good for your personal tarot of the year. As it relates to you. Other people use numerology in general to take a good look at the tarot of the year. Many say because of this year, our tarot is the Wheel of Fortune. Which I can understand.
But I call on the spirits. I ask them to take a good look at the year as a whole. Not the numbers but the currents. For this divination, I took out the tarot I inherited from my Godmother in Santeria. I asked the spirits and the universe for what the tarot of the year would be.
The Wise Master
The hermit is what came out. I have mixed feelings about this card. Like the wheel of fortune it has both a positive and a negative message. The positive side seems to tell us we will learn and grow a lot this year. The negative side is that the hermit is warning us to stay to ourselves. Try not to travel too much.
Travel is highly discouraged. At least within the US. I don’t know for certain outside. The Hermit is warning me of betrayals and nasty people. Of not talking too much and over sharing.
Be like an actual hermit. If you need to network, do it with people who prove themselves trustworthy. Don’t trust just anyone. This also feels like old energy. That hasn’t fully left from the last year.
I don’t want to take away from the official tarot of the year which is the wheel of fortune. But remember : the Goddess Fortuna can both bless and curse. The wheel is hers. So I will follow both tarot cards for the year. But I trust in what I have been shown.
At the same time, I have been told that this is an opportunity. The Hermit is a wise master. He/she knows many things. And is a spiritual master. Learn.
Listen to what others say carefully. So you can discern their true intentions. I think The Hermit came out because a whole mess of people still haven’t learned. And it’s effecting the world now. That’s what I believe based on what I have been told.
I just looked it up, and the Hermit was last year’s card as well using numerology. So this reinforces my belief that people have not learned shit. And we’re still in this ugly, seemingly endless cycle of hate and violence. I take it that perhaps 2026 is the wheel of fortune for those who did learn. And the Hermit still for those who didn’t.
” The Wheel brings change, movement, and unexpected opportunities. The Wheel spins, and we have to hang on and go where it takes us. Armed with the wisdom we gained in the Hermit year, we should be ready to seize opportunities and to surrender control when necessary.

That is what I have learned thus far from the tarot. I have other cards, but they told me it would be the same message either way. Just shown differently. So I am leaving this as is. Moving on.

Before the terrorist attacks against Venezuela that have claimed the lives of innocent civilians, and the dystopian kidnapping of a head of state. Trump also wants to invade India. And Keir Starmer apparently helped the US to kidnap President Nicolas Maduro Moros (US, UK, India). I wasn’t entirely right about everything. Especially the details.
But it is jarring to read what I wrote just last week before all of this happened. And then realizing that this came out when I was analyzing the Tai Sui. Using my intuition as an amateur (I’m not a Chinese astrologer). And I still came up with a pretty accurate description of the year so far. And it also seems to line up with the Tarot I pulled out as well as the Letra Del Año (Letter of the Year) in Cuba.
Pay attention to what I said before. Because the same pattern is coming up. In every single one of these readings.

What’s fascinating is the letter of this year, is that it seems to reflect everything you have already read. Plus a little bit more. The following is the key points from the English translation of the letter of the year 2026.
Writing this part as of Saturday January 10th, 2026
In other words everything that was mentioned above. That the year will be good or bad depending on what you do personally. On learning lessons and walking the correct path. One could argue this is vague and could apply to any year. And sure I’ll give you that.
But these are divinations from different cultures. It’s true that part of the Tai Sui message was my own interpretation. But even before I read the letter of the year, it all still lines up with this message. But it reveals something I couldn’t see before : Three forces govern our world this year. The extreme force of Ogun, the softness and sweetness of Oshun, and Orula’s wisdom.
Which to me represents the middle ground here. Orunmila is central to this year as the unifying force. Only moderation will work here. It is a warning against extremes. Don’t be too hard and forceful.
Or too soft and passive. You need to have a moderation between the two. So don’t burn the year into fire or drown into too much water. You need a stable ecosystem to survive. With all of the elements in unison.
This is also a warning against your own power turning against you in arrogance. Shooting yourself in the foot without intending to. But I also feel it means be careful of the opposite too. Fear. You need to be decisive at the same time.
With a cool head, making good decisions. And for that you also need many people around you. What you think is right may not be right at all. Having a wealth of teachers can help you. But also beware of too many voices in your head influencing you.
You have to walk a tight rope. And have a good balance. We’re also warned about trying to do too much. But neglecting the essentials. Overextending and burning ourselves out.
While neglecting those people and those things we need to care about. Which leads us to this next part.

Unfortunately, I have to say that this part applies to me.
Because I have been burning myself out. And helping others. And lately everyone has been chewing me up about it. And I am trying to refocus my energy back to me. But there’s a lot going on.
So I am going to try and refocus my energy towards my work. But also make sure to not abandon or cut off those who need me. While making sure I do cut off some negative people who need to go away. This is how we do the balancing act. It won’t be easy.
But it’s necessary. Because the elders from OshaeIfa are also warning that negligence will be punished as much as malevolence. The following are the taboos of the year. Along with some other warnings.
This is also important because of Ogun. This Orisha does not accept alcoholic offerings. The reason why is personal. But I would call him a patron God for sober alcoholics. Alcohol once destroyed his life.
He banished himself to the Forrest. And to repent, swore to serve and protect nature. That’s why his dominion is out in the forest. It wasn’t until Oshun herself found him isolated and alone in that forrest, that he finally rejoined the Orishas. Oshun herself is also a protector of nature.
Both of fresh water, and the earth. So it only makes sense that the two of them would be working together. And Orunmila is not limited to one thing or another. He is a master of wisdom and knowledge.
The children have been a bit of a pain in the ass lately. It’s not even been a full month yet. But they can walk around. Crawl all over the place. And now one even got his head stuck in the make shift fence we made for him.
Which caused me to panic.
Despite all that, and the hardships of the times, we have fought to keep the holiday spirit alive. More now than ever before.
We built them a bigger enclosure so that they could explore
The big kitten was sleeping next to his Papa the other night. Can’t believe he’s already so big. I remember when we first got him and he was still a kitten. That wasn’t too long ago either.
Instead of a Christmas Tree I usually make a Yule Shrine. Well me and my sister. There are several things hidden in there that came from altars and shrines. There’s also a letter a friend of mine sent me recently. With some chocolates and candy canes.
The images of the planets was also sent by her and was placed on my shrine for the Wild God now.
My other baby doesn’t like to be left out either. This was the original shrine years ago.

Like two or three years ago, I started watching Emily in Paris. Yes I watch that, don’t judge me. It’s a guilty pleasure. Besides the actresses are hot. Especially Ashley Park and Camille Razat.
But anyways, I decided I wanted to try something special.

I have to say, I don’t know what I expected. But the chocolate Pralines exceeded my expectations. This dessert was delicious. I ended up eating the whole thing by myself. I had originally ordered the Lavender white chocolate. But they ran out and gave me an extra one for my troubles.

It’s gotten chilly in Florida today. That’s actually good for me. This heat and humidity has been a killer. We need some more rest. So with that, I bid you all a good night.

Every accusation, is a confession. They’re the ones with the agenda. They want to replace all the people of color including Native Americans with pure Anglo-Saxon, Straight, White, Rich, “christians”. Preferably, those of wealthier classes. They even have organizations like Quiverfull that encourage right wing white Christians into having as many as 10 children to “protect their way of life,” they’re the ones who have been attempting a great replacement for 100’s years.
And they’re still mad that racial segregation was outlawed.
