This the old Napoleonic jail and guard house next ‘The Ship on Shore’ public house in Sheerness in Kent.
Built in the 1940s, it’s one of the oldest buildings to use concrete in the England. Called the ‘Grotto’ at the time it was used to house French prisoners which were used for labouring on the canals around the island.

The Pixies …have been at it again! This wall was unmarked yesterday but overnight they’ve been again.
I’ve been playing around with colour with my Leica M-P (Typ 240) and I think I have found the right setting for my taste. It’s called ‘smooth color film’ in the Leica’s menu and to my eye doesn’t look that far from either the AGFA Vista or the Kodak 200 Gold.
