Three. Two. One. Detonate.

This is rather close to the way Charlotte Hadley would describe her condition. She chooses the word “condition” because she believes (or at least wishes) that it can be cured, fixed, or treated. This, however, is not the case. She shares the same fate as several members of her family, the inability to live past the age of 35 due to an untreatable, incurable degenerative illness known as Huntington’s Chorea. Her biological time bomb lies in wait, constantly plaguing Hadley with a reminder of her inevitable death. It is because of this condition that she developed a secretive nature and is unwilling to divulge any personal information. It has also caused her to begin a “downwards spiral of destruction”, as many would call it, due to her reckless disregard for personal safety. Half of her doesn’t care, since she knows she’ll die anyways, but the other half of her lives with hope for a cure. This duo creates a risky dilemma, because she’ll do absolutely anything if a cure was offered to her.

Libellule is supposed to mean “dragonfly” in French, in case any of you are wondering. I would’ve used the French word for “butterfly” but I don’t like the sound of it for some reason.

For traits, I literally just picked the ones that had pretty colours in the thumbnails so Mirage is shy, artistic, a hopeless romantic, a great kisser, and family oriented.
