Recognition

by Lara Jahzeel I. Onato

True love isn’t found. It’s recognized.

Love is not a destination reached after searching, nor a prize earned through effort. It is a quiet certainty that arrives without announcement, a recognition that feels older than memory.

No matter how many times the world reshapes us, no matter how many lifetimes pass, the heart knows what it knows.

And when it sees that familiar soul again, it understands: this has always been love, and it will always be you.

Indeed, love is not something we search for. It’s someone we recognize, again and again, across existence itself.

If

by Lara Jahzeel I. Onato

How do we really know if where we are right now is where we really are supposed to be? If turning back the hands of a clock could really bring you back to the past, would you have changed something? If you could skip to the future and know where you will be, would you change something in the present to prevent yourself from going to that situation you have foreseen?

Life was, and is, and will always be full of surprises. If you always could have changed what happened in the past, and if you could always predict what the future has in store for you, then that is not the so-called life. Else, that is not “living” the life.

Go with the flow and embrace every untold experiences.
