Cause yesterday was a Melbourne Cup day and it is a public holiday, some of our friends decided to go to Hanging rock and we follow through. It was a good day. Jeremy and Jessica enjoyed climbing up. The view was breathtaking
One day Jeremy came home and told me, he wanted to play soccer to join a soccer club. His dad doesn’t watch nor play soccer so he was abit taken back to be honest.
But Jeremy has never said he wanted to join anything at all so I was excited and hook him up with his friend’s club. Got a pair of soccer boots for him and sheen guards and off he goes. He looks so happy 👍 so this is Jeremy’s Saturday sport, 9:30am -11am.
And he cannot stop kicking his soccer ball at home too 😂
Tuesday is a busy day for Jessica this year. The last year before Jessica will be in school all day starting next year.
She has a swimming lesson since february in the morning and at 11am she is having a dancing lesson (ballet/tap) since June.
I never had any dancing lesson when I was young so I was not intended to enrol her too, it just wasn’t crossed my mind and I actually didnt really know much but girls’ curicullum activities etc. But she has been coming up to me since beginning of the year asking me to enrol her in dancing lesson. And I finally took her in one.
She was so excited and went in the class on her first trial lesson without a fuss and doing it happily. After her first lesson, the teacher came out and asked me if she has ever done dancing before. And I said never, the teacher then went on how Jessica has fit in very well in the class, she listens to instructions very well (as she always does too at home). So we have been coming to the class continously.
Jeremy and Jessica at Garden World. Garden world just like its name is a place where they sell everything related to the garden. But they also have lotsa of dinosaurs statue. The kids excited to see dinosaurs statue. But Jessica was a lil taken back, a lil scared I guess. We should go to museums next time to see and learn about dinosaur 😉

Been back since last weekend, havent gotten a chance to sit down and write about it nor posting pics – infact there’s still 1 memory card has not been transferred at all… :p lazyness
Anyway, it was a really enjoyable holiday. The weather was not too cold at all, infact first few days were quite warm, some people only wears shorts and tshirt.
To sum it all up: We stayed in Disneyland for 3 nights (tried both hotels too) and stayed in Kowloon for 4 days (free upgrade to a suite too – yay!!), went to A symphony of the Lights – watching Laser ‘dance’, rode on tram up the hill to The Peak ( it was freezing cold! Heck, we are up on the mountain – breathtaking view, but extremely windy! and went to Madam Tussauds, and lastly we visited Ocean Park Hk (super big- dont have time to see everything or even most of it)
Jeremy enjoyed it very much. I would try to write about it… but because Disneyland Story part would be long – I might start with 2nd half of our Journey: A Symphony of lights :p
A Symphony of Lights : It’s along Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront between Avenue of Stars and Hongkong Cultural Centre. Rd told me that this show is in Guiness Book of Record, and it’s a must see. So we went there, it was a free event – and they do it every night – Rd even said some residents in nearby apartments complaining of the Lights as they were too bright – they even called it Lights pollution (Oh I just googled this, he was partly right haha, lots of residents were complaining about the lights in general – as Hongkong has lots of light up building/advertisement billboard etc, not A symphony of Lights in particular :))
We went there after Hot Pot Dinner (Yummmy :)))

We came 30 minutes early, there were already LOTS of people (but anywhere I went in HK, there were always lots of people, so yeah..) and there’s music and English Translation naration.
How was it? It was lovely, the music and laser complimented each other. (the view was lovely alone without the lase, lots of building has christmas them lights :)). So there were lots of laser going of in lots of building , “dancing” to the rhytm of the song. And it was Free 🙂 nothing beat that, right 🙂
Oh yeah FYI: The guiness was for World’s Largest Permanent LIghts and Sounds show
Before the show: HK @ night -Tsim Sha Tsui

During the show: my photos did not do them any justice :p so I shall post some pic from google – and I found this from a real estate agent website

after that we went to have a walk along to Avenue of Star. Ardi was asking us to ride in a boat too, but I had a-not-so-pleasant experience riding in a boat there – it was during my first ever visit to HK- 1997 where HK “returned” to China – I was there in one of the *crowded* boat with my parents supposedly watching the celebration fireworks. I guess now I think about it, in 1997, when I came HK was overly crowded because it was a BIG event for HK, hey even my parents purposedly came during that time just because wanting to see that particular event. Bringing 1 baby and 1 child were the final turn-off for me, maybe next time 🙂
avenue of stars: kinda like hollywood walk of fame- with stars name – But I have very limited knowledge of HK stars (if it was Korean Stars I might go crazy over it haha :p), and I noticed the stars name are in Chinese – like if it was Andy Lau (didnot find Andy Lau one though – it must be there but we did not look for it :p), there will be his Chinese Character name, and it was written as “Liu Te Hua” not Andy lau; so I dont even know how to spell my fave HK movie stars’ name in chinese- I know them as Louis Ko, Danniel Wu ❤ my crush in highschool haha , Sammy Cheng, Miriam yeung. But we had a good time enjoying the view 🙂 and there were live music – a guy was singing ang playing piano (it was in a kinda small stage – so I guess it was part of the perfomance there? and he was playing Andy Lau song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRzELQ2nsVQ&w=200&h=165
There were lots of Photographer on the side – and we could take picture and they print it on the spot – so we had one family pic taken :). I don’t have the picture file here, but here’s one near same spot with Jeremy – when we were waiting for them to print the pic.. Rd just took this using a compact camera and he was so surprised of the quality , he even said jokingly, “we should just take it with our own camera, it looked really good, almost the same as the one pro photographer took -haha”
