About Nadia

Nadia Harhash is a Palestinian writer, researcher, and philosopher from Jerusalem. She holds a PhD in Philosophy, Gender, and Cultural Studies from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she graduated with the distinction Excellent Cum Laude. Her doctoral research explored the Palestinization of identity, weaving together feminist theory, decolonial thought, and Arab philosophy to challenge dominant narratives of power and governance.

Nadia also holds an MA in Islamic Philosophy from Freie Universität Berlin and an MA in Jerusalem Studies from Al-Quds University. She has earned postgraduate diplomas in Peacebuilding & Conflict Resolution (Coventry University), Strategic Planning (RTC Birmingham), and Community Organizing (Tel Aviv-Yafa Academic College), and has a BA in Law from Beirut Arab University.Most recently, she completed a professional tour guide training program at the University of Haifa.

Her work spans academic research, literature, journalism, and public discourse, focusing on themes of colonial modernity, gendered resistance, identity, and justice. She is the author of several books in Arabic and English, including In the Shadow of MenNietzsche in Jerusalem, and On the Trail of Maryam. Her writing has appeared in local and international platforms, and she has been invited to speak at conferences and residencies across Europe and the Middle East.

Through her work, Nadia remains committed to amplifying silenced voices and reclaiming narratives of dignity, complexity, and truth.
