lack-of-idea syndrome

27 July 2010

i stared at the screen for almost 5 minutes, thinking about what kind of thing that can be written into my blog, this lack-of-idea syndrome periodically happen indeed, plus recently i’m so busy working on script about my final year project, those factors take a synergistic action to make my blog remains inactive or in other word “abandoned”.  listening to the music couldn’t help me to get some ideas, the silence did the same thing also.

morning hours

watching spongebob again after one week without doing this fun routine. listening to songs that was downloaded last night at campus, some of them are stevie wonder’s and michael jackson’s. took a bath and then decided to go to campus, just for getting free internet service but suddenly remembered, i have something to do at jakarta. checking my money, Rp. 40.000 left, couldn’t use the travel shuttle service, so i must use the train, the business one because the ticket for executive is Rp. 50.000,  no air conditioner, no tv, and there’s a risk of getting no seat. went to canteen, had my breakfast, it was almost noon though. got on the “angkot”, went straight to the station, the angkot was “ngetem” for several minutes, arrrggghhh i hate it.

noon hours

arrived at the station. queuing for getting the ticket, there were some men on my front that had no idea about what the “standing ticket” was, they took a loooong time to get what it was about, uugghhh. got the ticket, it was “standing ticket” which mean all of the seats inside the train belonged to the other passengers, they were buying the tickets earlier. ok, no air conditioner and no seat, “perfect”!. the train was late for about 30 minutes, aarrrrgggghhhhh. at 12:00 the train was leaving the bandung station, it was full of people. it was hot inside the train, i sat in the “bordes”, the train’s toilet was right in front of me, i had no other place to sit. the train stopped at several small stations for about 10 to 15 minutes, no air got in through the ventilation when the train stopped, it was getting hotter then. had no other choice but enjoyed it.

afternoon hours

finally arrived at jatinegara station after 3 hours filled with sat and stood, played “snake xenzia” from my cell phone,  some sleeps, and heard music from my mp3 player. got out from the station and then got inside the “metromini”, we only need to pay Rp. 2000 for near or far destination, it’s sure affordable for all. after several minutes filled with red traffic lamp trespassing, crash nearmiss, and driver substitution, i arrived at duren sawit district. need to “catch” an “angkot” for taking me closer to my house, i took an “angkot” then. there was only Rp. 5000 left in my wallet, paid the “angkot” with that 5.000, the change would be Rp. 4000, but the driver only gave me Rp. 3000, that was too expensive for such short distance but i’m too tired to complain,  so whatever. i walked through the housing complex, straight, and then turned right, and then turned left, the second house from the left, finally (this is the truly “finally”) i arrived at my house. met my cousin, my sister, my mom, and my mom’s assistant. glad to be here, at home. felt tired and hungry, i lay down on my bed and then ate vermicelli with meatball made by my mom, yummy.

night hours

met my dad. and then writing this blog, finished at 18:51, so it’s the time to publish it.

good night

Review on Toy Story 3

Posted in Books, Musics, Movies on June 23, 2010 by nightsea

Kemarin, gw bersama beberapa teman nonton Toy Story 3,  didasari atas reputasi yang baik dari sekuel terdahulu serta teaser2 yang menarik di youtube. For me Toy Story 3 is one of the most anticipated movie of 2010.

Dan setelah nonton, it is a good movie indeed, very entertaining, and suitable to be watched with family. Laughable, heart touching, dan banyak pesan moral yang bisa diambil. Perfect mixture of drama, action, and comedy, dengan kualitas animasi 3D khas PIXAR yang ga perlu diragukan lagi.

Penempatan dan durasi scene tentang latar belakang masalah, konflik dan pemecahan masalah yang pas, sesuai, dan ga berlebihan membuat film ini very watchable, your eyes won’t going nowhere but stay straight to the screen.

The music score and soundtrack, they’re just great. “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” performed by Randy Newman that was the main soundtrack from the previous sequel “Toy Story” is included again in “Toy Story 3”, and there’s a spanish version of this song too in this movie, what a fun surprise!

Satisfying and really worth it, this movie is recommended to be watched!

Good job for the crew who have worked really hard making this movie. I guess toy story 3 deserves to get nominated for some categories in the academy awards.

PS: i wonder where are my childhood toys now? just wanna say sorry for not taking a good care of you guys. thanks for everything.

Starbucks’ Caffe Misto

setelah order, tidak beberapa lama kemudian jadilah si caffe misto tadi, and the taste is more than i expected

the rich and bold taste from the coffee mixed with creamy yet frothy steamed milk, decorated with a bit of foam, caffe misto is just great! meskipun definisinya secara harfiah adalah “kopi susu”, tapi dengan menggunakan kopi kualitas starbucks, it’s more than just “kopi susu”, it’s really worth it! a perfect drink for accompanying me while i’m working on my “skripsi”.

below is the review of caffe misto from starbucks coffee website (www.starbucks.com):

“Equal parts rich-brewed coffee and frothy steamed milk, this beverage is well-loved in many parts of the world and goes by many names. While Italians call it caffè misto, in France, it’s known as café au lait, and in Spain, café con leche. Whatever you call it, it’s a delightfully smooth and milky drink, perfect for sitting, sipping and contemplating the day.”
