Notice of Amendment of the Membership Rates and Bylaws
Notice to the NYSAC membership is hereby provided that pursuant to a vote of the NYSAC Board of Directors, at this year’s New York State Association of Cemeteries Fall Conference at which our annual meeting will be held on October 7, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, New York, the membership will be voting on the following changes to our Membership Rates and Association Bylaws:
NYSAC Membership Rates
On May 19, 2025 the NYSAC Board of Directors passed a motion made by the Membership Committee to propose the following amendments to the membership rate and increase the annual dues based on the number of interments per year. These rates are as follows:
Bylaws Amendment
On May 19, 2025 the NYSAC Board of Directors passed a motion made by the Bylaws Committee that:
“All board members are encouraged to attend as many events during the year as possible, however they are required to attend at least either the Public Affairs Seminar or the Annual Meeting as well as the accompanying board meetings in person annually.”
Please note: if the registered member cannot attend this meeting, please go online at www.nysac.com or call the NYSAC office at (518) 434-1134 to receive a proxy. The proxy should be completed and returned to the NYSAC office by mail by September 29, 2025.
