BE STILL AND WATCH WHAT I WILL DO

Oh, be still and watch Me sit you in a place to laugh at the enemies who have been blocking your path. I am preparing a release of joy for you, and this joy will cause you to laugh at your past mistakes. This joy will help you to recognize that your mistakes have been washed in My blood, and you are forgiven. This release of joy will come as you become still in your spirit. When you do this, you will receive the help you need to get you through your storm. My joy will give you the strength to overcome the enemies you have been battling.

I know you may not recognize it, but stillness can be one of the greatest warfare weapons to defeat your enemies. Stillness occurs when you become one with Me. When you are aligned with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, no weapon formed against you will ever prosper.

I want you to become one with Me because your emotions right now are unsettling. I want to calm your emotions so your mind will think of heavenly things. Allow Me to minister to you and heal emotions so you won’t miss any of your blessings. My child, if your emotions aren’t healed, you might strike the rock, instead of speaking to it and miss your door of entry for this next season.

Quiet your soul, set aside some time to commune with Me each day, and allow Me to still your heart and your spirit. This is your key to moving forward. Do not allow thoughts of failure and defeat to keep you in a season of conflict. I want you to be free to move with Me. Therefore, rise above it My child, and seek My face in the stillness of the day. Seek Me and watch what seemed invincible fall before you.

Be quiet, be still, and watch Me move.

READ AND MEDITATE ON HIS WORD

Job 37:14  Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

Psa. 46:10-11 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Psa. 62:1-2  Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Isa. 30:15  For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

Isa. 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

John 15:11  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

LET GO AND MOVE ON

Stop thrashing around in the place of distress and let go and move on.  It is not My will for you to be burdened with all the weight you’re carrying.  It is not My desire to see you crawl under the burdens.  I didn’t give them to you, so why are you carrying them? Hand them to Me.  Give them to Me and let go and move on.

Trust Me to care for you. Trust Me to make a way even though you don’t see a way. Trust Me to take these weights from you so you can travel light.  The only thing I want you to carry is My word.  Carry it in your spirit; in your heart and speak it forth. Because this is what you need for the journey ahead.  All you need is My word.  But more than carry My word; you must believe My word and act on it.  Trust in Me.  I am not a man that I would lie.  I Am, that I Am. I Am Jehovah Jireh, Mighty Deliverer.

So, sing Hosanna!  Sing and praise My name!  Sing about the goodness of who I am. I am the One who has set you free; therefore, sing and shout for joy.  Sing and praise My Holy Name, for you have been set free to let go and move on.  I am here and I will carry all that you give Me, but you must give it to Me. Oh, let go My child, let go and move on; for whom the Son sets is free indeed.

It’s time to let go of the burdens, the worries, the tears, and the pain.  It’s time to let go and move on.  See it all behind you. See yourself delivered from the past. Stop and ponder on the road you walked down, and you will see that I was there. I heard your cries; I heard you call out.  It was a long road, but it is done; it’s over. Look back no more.

Now, let go My child, let go and move on. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Take My word and feed on it. It’s a new day. Let go and move on.

Read and Meditate on My Word

Psa. 40:3  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD

Num 23:19  God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Mat. 11:29 -30 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Joh 8:36  If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Php 3:13-14  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

PRAY AND STAND STILL

In Exodus 14:13-14, Moses told them to fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. The Lord will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Hold your peace, let God fight the battle. All you have to do is trust Him. Trust Him and know that GOD IS! Stand still and hear what the Lord will command concerning your problem. Do not listen to any other voice but God’s while you are going through it. His voice is the only one that can and will lead you out. Friends mean well, but there are times when your friends get in the way of the blessing the Lord has for you. Pray and be still.

  • If there is a problem in your life, and you cannot seem to solve it. Take your hands off it! Pray and stand still.
  • If your husband or wife has left you, and you know God gave them to you. Pray and stand still.
  • If you are sick, and the doctor has given up. Do not give up on God. Pray and stand still.
  • Do not look to the left, do not look to the right, but look to the hills from which cometh your help. Pray and stand still.

Waiting on God is not always easy. He never said that it would be. However, if you allow Him to work it out for you, you will come through the test much sooner. Do not move until you know it is the Lord guiding you. He will speak peace to soothe your weary soul. Soon, you will see every trial unfold. God has not forgotten you; He knows exactly where you are and what you are going through. God is our refuge, a very present help in times of trouble. Then, having done all… stand. Stand with the full armor of God on. Stand up and bless the Lord your God.

Your first step in having authority over the enemy is having peace in the midst of the storm. You remember the story about Jesus asleep on the ship. The waves began to beat against the boat, and the disciples became afraid. They woke up Jesus. How could He sleep through a storm like this? Didn’t He care? These same disciples saw Jesus perform many miracles. However, when the storm hit they acted as if the Lord was not on the ship with them. Have you forgotten who is on board the ship in your life?

So, it is with your life now. You believe in Him for salvation, you trust Him for the forgiveness of sins. You look to Him to supply your daily needs, but when a sudden storm hits and everything is falling apart; we sometimes forget who the captain of our ship is. Let us look at how Jesus handled the situation. He did not fight against the storm; neither did He fear it. Instead, He spoke to it with authority and subdued it with His perfect peace. Speak the Word!

My Prayer Confession, Heavenly Father, I will stand on the Word of God. I will hold fast to that which I know to be true. I will pray and stand still. I will speak the Word over my circumstances and see things change. I know whom I belong to, and I know who is on board with me.

NKJV, Evangelical Study Bible Review

I received a complimentary copy of the hardcover NKJV Evangelical Study Bible as a member of the Bible Gateway Blogger Grid in exchange for an honest review of this Bible. [#BibleGatewayPartner]

I was truly refreshed by the beauty of this wonderful Study Bible. It truly kept me engaged as I read and searched the scriptures to learn more about the Gospel.

The Evangelical Study Bible kept my faith rejuvenated as I read through the unchanging truth of the gospel. There is verse-by-verse commentary, interesting sidebars and pictures that dig deeper into the historical background of Scripture. It gave me a better understanding and appreciation of the life-changing truths of the Christian faith.

In my daily devotional time, I found myself stopping from time to time to research cultural background notes, biographies, full-color maps, charts, and family trees. You will enjoy the included articles designed to help you better understand your faith and ways to effectively share it with others. A lot of these articles will address some of the pressing issues of our day and will equip on how you to engage others with confidence, helping them to lay a strong foundation of truth for the next generation.

Features in this Bible include:

  • Verse-by-verse commentary on the entire Bible for a better understanding of the passage being read
  • Numerous short articles on Christian teachings and doctrine for a systematic study of themes in God’s Word
  • Articles to help you to navigate the cultural engagement issues of today
  • Cultural background notes will enable you to relate to how people lived in Bible times
  • Word Studies to explore key terms of the Bible.
  • Biographies of over 100 biblical figures give overviews of key men and women in the Bible
  • Full-color maps, charts, and family trees for a visual representation of concepts and where key events in the Bible took place.
  • Book introductions, with outlines and reading plans, provide a concise overview of the background and historical context of the book about to be read.
  • Topical indexes and cross-references make it easy to find important topics in Scripture.
  • Concordance provides an alphabetical listing of important passages by keywords.
  • 10.5-point NKJV Comfort Print – great print

Once again, the only negative thing I can say, is that I received the hardback, and not the leather Bible. I like using a leather Bible versus the hardback. it’s easier to handle.

I’m impressed with Evangelical Study Bible. And I would highly recommend it for a great Bible study.
