Photos From My Past #573…

Brucie here…

The motorhome and Bronco have been sold. Rosie and I are now here year-round at our home in Lake Tamarisk, California. Since we no longer travel, there is little to newly photograph for my daily blog content.

Then a thought struck me… I have over 42,000 photos in storage that no one ever gets to see. WHAT GOOD IS THAT?

So I decided to start this new blog showing some of the photos from my past. I started photography back in 1974… 51 years ago. Back then everything was shot on film and hence the quality might not be as good as today’s digital photography.

My stored photos have been downsized  to save storage space, hence… they are a little smaller than usual. Re-sizing upwards greatly degrades the image, so I have not done so.

In 1995, I owned my own real estate business. The moment was right when I made a rather quick decision to retire in December, 1995 as I was turning 55. In 2004 I took a 17,000 mile trip to Mexico and Central America. After successfully returning to the United States, I headed off to see what else I could find with my motorhome and Bronco II.

Here are some photos I took a long time ago… the year is 2007…

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

I will provide photo comments as I can remember them…

On my way to visit a very uniquely historical place in United States history. In the center of the below photo awaits Fort Sumpter. The first shot fired in the Civil War happened from this place on April 12, 1861. You can learn more about this place by clicking this link… https://www.nps.gov/fosu/index.htm
