Many of us still drink those sodas because its delicious and very refreshing. As a health buff, I would recommend people to refrain from drinking sodas. Well for one if you would read the ingredients from the can you would see that you are drinking basically carbonated water, sugar, artificial flavor and artificial color. If you will have the time, you could read almost all sodas are made out of these 4 ingredients. These companies that are making these kind of drinks are irresponsible of their patrons, just their pockets. They don’t care what illnesses their products will produce. Only a few companies are starting to go green. That is, their products are made of natural ingredients such as derived from fruits and vegetables. Responsible companies produces products that read in their label ingredients like these: Distilled water, fruit purees, vegetable purees, honey/cane sugar, natural flavors, natural colors. Of course drinking them is not that bad but drinking them in excess or everyday is, unless you are eating meat everyday. Imagine drinking it everyday sometimes 2 to 3 times a day. You are drinking and stacking artificial flavors and artificial colors in your body. Artificial colors and artificial flavors are made of chemicals, that’s why they are describe as artificial. The liver is mainly the organ responsible to synthesized the chemical that we absorbed in the body. Making it work harder thereby stressing it. I only recommend drinking sodas when your meal is meat whether its pork, beef, veal and other meat that is not of fowl or fish. If it’s chicken you may or may not, depending on how you cook it. If it is fried or of oil then one must drink soda, but in moderation also. You know why I am recommending sodas when you eat meats because sodas have sugars, simple table sugar that can help our body break the meat making it digestible. But drinking sodas on an empty stomach is a very no-no. Imagine if sodas can can help our body break the meat we ate to digestible state, what can the soda do in an empty stomach, it can disturb and destroy the stomach lining thereby lead to stomach related illnesses.
