We arrived to Johannesburg, South Africa after a grueling 15 hours from Atlanta, Georgia. We spent 4 days in the Mission Home where we learned that we would be the first Missionary Couple to open up Francistown, Botswana. Which meant another 12 hour car drive.

Traditional Wedding

We went to a traditional wedding, they killed a cow in an open field with an axe and chopped it up on the spot. They cooked it over an open flame in big pots. The video is a traditional native dance I hope I can get it to you.

It is all My Fault!

I thought I had a health scare but had everything checked out and I am in perfect health. I did find out that one of my medications had painful side effects. All taken care of and we are on our way to the MTC then off to South AFrica!

Bob and I received our mission call today. We will be going to Johannesburg,South Africa. Bob's eyes were as big as lemons when he read where we were going, I am still shocked. Our children were half and half shocked. I thought we were going to England or somewhere in Europe, boy was I wrong! I am getting used to it now. We told all the kids at the Second Chance Prom in Kingman, Arizona and called Tom in Ga.
