BINGO prize, stash, ornament finish, Christmas

I won bingo in one of my groups. First time! I was so excited. I went away for christmas. Upon my return my prize was waiting for me.  Thanks Carein

After new years, I will start the next game.

I was in NC to visit my mother-in-law. I thought there was a cross-stitch store there, and was so excited to see it. The LNS is 2 hours away from my house. I was quite disappointed to find out that shop in NC was closed- had been for 2 years.  *sigh*  Worked out in the end. I went by myself yesterday to the LNS. I had a great day. Best of all- aside from the stash- I didn't feel rushed because of hubby and baby being there. I have a new yearly tradition!

The floss is for a few projects I got last trip there.  They were out of a few so I have an order to do for 123stitch.   They had the ladybug from the  CCN  Garden Party. Glad because I have already started it.  Not far enough to take a photo though.

I finished Nickedemus. Well the stitching anyways.

I have been after hubby to make me a cross-stitch stand for years now. I finally gave up and decided to order one after christmas. Imagine my surprise when hubby made me one!  It's a lap stand and all metal. I love it. It's just what I wanted.

Another half page

Mistress Of Wolves-Jessica Galbreth- HAED

I FINALLY finished another half page! This one took me a record year and half to finish! Compared to the year it took to finish the first 4 pages. Ah well. I wouldn't change anything. Having Troy is such a blessing.

This is 4 1/2 pages total done of 12.  Stitch count wise it is nearly half done as only 3 or 4 more pages are full pages.

Does anyone love stitching on linen? I have 4 large pieces that I don't want.  I am looking for a new home for them.

A pillow and a purse

I finally finished the pillow. Once I sat down to do it, it only took a short time. I am so proud- it is my first pillow- It's so cute.  As a bonus I used some stash fabric. Doesn't that mean I get to buy more?

Purse front
Purse back- pocket.

This purse I made after I came across a website- LazyGirl Designs. It is a small purse to just take for short trips. I like to carry it with the diaper bag, as Troy's stuff goes in the diaper bag- and my few items go in this.  It was easy to make and I used fabric I already had from a quilt project.

I have some other patterns from LazyGirlDesigns that I can't wait to start.  Different things will be used as christmas gifts.

A finish

It's late but Winifred Witch is  done.  I didn't make it before Halloween but that's okay. I still have to finish it. I have decided on making it into a pillow.   I hope to get that done before the end of the week.

I have about half of my biscournu to finish, then I don't know what I will do. I am thinking something for christmas. I may even do that before finishing the biscournu- depends what I feel like tomorrow I suppose.

So here is a picture.

Frog Visit

I spent the evening watching house and stitching happily on my Halloween ornie.

Then..........

I realized my counting was off in her face.  So I spent the rest of the evening frogging it all out.

Waste of an evening.

I will post a picture tomorrow.

Halloween

What can I say? I can never work on just one project for long. I get bored. Even when it is just a small project.  I finished one side of my frog biscournu......... Picture to come I promise.

Then I got sidetracked by halloween. Today I started a halloween ornament from this years halloween ornament issue of Just CrossStitch.

I have some changes to make on this blog the look and the WIP's on the side. I'm just a bit behind.

My baby started to crawl so I've been extra busy!

Recent stash

This is stuff I hope to start soon. My next projects. The one on the left I got in a secret sister on a cross-stitch group. The one on the right I bought for my secret sister but liked so much I had to keep it. The one in the middle is for halloween from a cross-stitch ornament.
The rest of my new stash.

Recently when we were on vacation I got some stash. Here it is. I need to order the ladybug to finish the CCN set. Not sure if I will stitch them all together or separate.

Mistress

I have been stitching for the past 2 days on Mistress. It has been about 6 months since I worked on her at all. I finally found a set up that works with my large tummy (I'm 33 1/2 weeks pregnant). I'm not sure how much I will get to stitch after he arrives, so I hope to enjoy the last few weeks of quiet I have left.

Tomorrow I will post a picture of my progress as I have to take one for posting elsewhere.
