Articles of solo travel really pumped me up late last year so when I got into the bench, I decided to go and try to do it my own. So, early this year around January or so, I planned to go on a solo travel around South East Asia. This travel has the following agenda:
1. To experience backpackers life and be on the minimum budget possible
2. To explore the culture of other countries
3. To prove my independence and bravery
4. To go to as many place as I can
So from January to before April 2, I was able to accomplish the following:
1. Book my hostels using booking.com. Since I’m on minimum budget, I went for the female dorm bed for all except for Cambodia where I was able to book a double room.
2. Book my flight tickets:
– Manila to SG via Jet Star
– Kuala Lumpur to Vietnam via Malaysian Airlines
– Bangkok to Manila via Philippine Airlines
3. Prepare my itinerary by reading countless of articles for research
4. File my leaves (10 days leave) from April 2-20
Finally, my SEA tour has come. Will follow up on the next posts. Ta-ta for now~! š
I told her, “Be wary of men’s tears. They use it as a weapon as much as we wield ours. They’ve already learned how it affects us and they’ve learned to use it.”
Because I’ve seen men who was able to fool me with little droplets of tears falling on their cheeks. And she is so innocent, I would’ve hate to see her be fooled. Every woman should be warned.

I woke up crying.
I had a bad dream. The dream was so bad I couldn’t get over it. In my dream, my siblings and I had a fight, until later on, without knowing, without any goodbye, someone passed away. Someone came to be with my mom.
In my dreams, they just delivered the news to me. But I saw him crying and I was like, “is this a joke?! Someone tell me you’re joking!” Then I shouted and shouted for his name but just a croak came out. And I asked mom because my aunt said that in her dream, she said she’ll watch so that noone will follow her.
I can’t withstand not being able to say goodbye. I begged God to have mercy because I can’t withstand another death in our family.
In my dream, I looked at his fb and found endering words for us there. Then I cried so hard I woke up.
I miss my mom so bad. I want to see her. I want to kiss and hug her. I want to tell her how much I love her, feel her warmth, talk to her like before without keeping any secrets, make her experience the finer things in life.
But these things, I can’t do anymore because she’s gone.
Nanay, wherever you are I hope you are happy and free of any pain and sadness. I hope you forgive me for every wrong I did to you. I hope you know I love you. I love you Nanay. Rest in peace.
