First off, I would like to say that the RELIENT K’S SO GOOD AND CLEAN LIVE! It’s like listening to their album, but with them in front of you! They’re amazing! I wish I had the finances to watch all of their four shows here, especially since they performed at least one unique song per venue (I really wanted to hear “The Best Thing” live).  Too bad I live far up north.

Chilled and goofed off with a lot of different people since arriving in Trinoma. I didn’t bring my camera, since I know that I won’t be in a decent spot/part of the venue during the show, and I had other things to do earlier that day. I wasn’t in the mood to use my phone to take shots outside of the concert as well, not until late in the evening, but almost everyone was gone – except for these three who phoned me, just when I was about to go home, to hang out with them at Time Zone. This is relatively new since I rarely see Karen, and it’s my first time to meet Martin. These are my only “souvenirs”:

Karen hunted this machine.

WE WON!

THE TRIO. From left to right: Karen, Martin, and Jeniffer.

The bomb.

JETS IN SPACE. A four-player game we loved at Timezone. We’ll be back to finish the game.

We finished it off with one round of that horror (Right. “Horror”) 4d game outside Timezone, and then a little “role playing trail” of sorts around the dark parts of the mall, imagining zombies and other scenarios applicable to the scenery. Was a great night indeed.

By the way, after several years of knowing about the band, I just learned last night that it’s pronounced as “Re-la-yant K”, not “Re-lyent K”. /enlightenment /themoreyouknow

Sidenote: It’s been a long long while since I used my WP account, mainly because I can’t remember my login details. lol Since Facebook doesn’t have this kind of posting feature (yet) and Blogger’s kinda meh, I had to search through all my emails so that I can access this thing again. Hello, old friend.

Moon Gazing

Testing! Testing! I’m just suggesting, you and I might not be the best thing~

Saw a cloud formation last night under the full moon that resembles a phoenix holding a sword or spear with its talons.

The Royal Wedding

A question I found on the forums by someone from Wales, UK.

Do you know/have your heard anything about the Royal Wedding in Britain? I asked a few people while we were ceding yesterday and I was suprised to find that there has been a lot of international interest and specials on tv etc. I’m just curious to see exactly how far all this hype has gone.”

Think, what does other non-UK countries have to do with it?

Here in the Philippines, every station in our country has an “exclusive coverage” about the wedding, but have you asked yourselves, what does it have to do with us? It’s not being cynical and all, but I find the hype in a country such as ours really ridiculous. You get the point.

There are other things out there worth the attention, but no, we choose to mingle with things that doesn’t concern us that much, with such importance. Our attention span about important matters in our own country simply diminishes by the minute.

The congress is even having a debate about prohibiting unlimited rice from restaurants and such.

Now, what can you say about that? Think about it.

Time to Breathe

I just want to runaway right now, go as far as I can go, and try to never look back. Everything is so different and everything is so fast, I just can’t take it. I want to leave this place, even for just a while.

Yes, change is inevitable, but isn’t that too much?

I want to travel. I want to climb a mountain. I want to visit my grandmother. I want to take my sisters to a mall or an amusement park, or to the old reliable Jollibee.

I want to take a vacation, for a day or two, far from the city, far away from you.

Over the past weeks, the things I witnessed are hard to handle. I’ve read enough, I’ve said enough, I heard enough, and I’ve seen enough. I think that is enough for me.

I wonder when will this emptiness subside. It feels like my heart is missing, or my lungs, or just something inside went on a vacation and never came back. It’s nothing new, but..

I just want to escape this madness and find enlightenment somewhere, or else, I’ll go mad. Everything is too much, I just want to breathe.

Return to Blogging

“A writer will always be a writer.”

That statement never left my mind, maybe because it’s a subconscious wanting? I don’t know, but my writing skills developed as early as Fourth Grade, and reached its peak on my Sophomore years in the university.

I wrote essays and poetry. I even remember waking up before the crack of dawn just to write a random impromptu ‘food for thought’ post during high school. It was fascinating and touching to know that people read my work.

After about a year of hiatus, Pia Gudgad persuaded urged me to write again. And so, the story once again unfolds, that there was once this writer who informed and inspired people through his writings..or so I thought.

The journey continues. Good day.
