Elizabeth's Ph.D's: Finish № Four (Finally!)

It is easier to go down a hill than up, but the view is best from the top. –Arnold Bennett

I'm only 14 months late, but my fourth and final quilt from the challenge is finished, bound, washed, blocked and folded neatly waiting for the right occasion to be used.

The quilt is called In the Pink: A Study in Pinwheels. I finished the quilting last Tuesday. I washed and blocked it on Wednesday. It wasn't dry until Friday. And there was finally good light to photograph it today.

I'm sort of at a loss for words. The only ones that come to mind are . . . terminus . . . finished . . . completed . . . finito . . . done. Those are happy words.

There's really not much more to say anyway. I've pretty much said it all in the 2¾ years it has taken me to make this quilt. Here are links to all the posts about this quilt. Yeah. It's been one epic quilt in the making.

Another finish, finally! The Double Wedding Ring Quilt

I am pleased to announce I  finally have another finish and it's a big one.  A king-sized, big one. It's taken me 4 years (some years with no work at all) to finish this baby but the desire to finish it up for this Challenge blog has kept me motivated, even if late, to get it posted for you.

A longer blog post about it can be found here but for now, enjoy the pictures.

Thanks, Myra, for keeping this blog up!

Oh yeah....

Another one for Ann Marie. I really need me a calendar to keep up with all the different blogs I need to post things on. This make 3 for me off that list. I am still looking to see if I finished more or not. This time it was the red and white front that ended up being the back, because I made it into a COCA-COLA quilt for my best friend AMY! She is such a coke addict!!!  Click HERE to check it out!

Finish #6 of 9 :-)

I found my binding fabric!
It was in the bottom, furthest corner of my kit-stash closet,
under several other stacks of fabric!!!

Hugs,
