So I made my first batch of worm food! Its carrots and cornmeal…carrots are not harmful but they take forever to decompose….but they keep moisture in if I ever forget to water….corn meal is supposed to make them breen more often…we will see

Update #4
Fert
The emersed java moss is getting very light green. I think it needs fertilizer. I think I will do a water change on the 20 gal tomorrow and give it some “nutrient water”…if you know what I mean. .
Shameless
Mini Worm farm
I started a mini worm farm 🙂 the total cost was around 5$! The mini bucket was from walmart for 2$ and the worms were from walmart for 3$! Thats less than a box of fertilizer from the store!
I used newspaper strips (only the black and white sections) and wetted them with bottled water. Thats all you need to do! Now I just have to wait to feed them for a week then they can start to eat scraps!
Eggs!
My blue ram’s layed eggs! This is the 3rd fish I have had to lay eggs! They are really funny guarding their eggs and fanning them. They even clean their eggs with their mouth and place them back down.
If they hatch I will post! If they dont I will post! The chances of them living are small (its a community tank) but I will try!
New thing!
I have a new thing! Its a cage…with no pets…yet
It will eventually hold a(or more) pygmy chameleon. The plants in the terrarium are (arrowhead plant)(pothos)(rex begonia)(pilea)(the bushy plant in the right corner is a umbrella plant…I think)(also some java moss!)
Although dont hold your breath on the java moss I usally accidentally let it dry out. I will *try* not to let it dry when it is transitioning to emersed growth. (The moss in the jar transitions great because there is a lid on the jar and it does not dry out as fast)
