Time for my Echores methinks!

All done for another fine evening, so I’m going to go and race until I’m tired.

I need to go shop today, but I’ll do it as early as I can.

I see another 10 bottles of beer on the horizon!

Also bread, milk and lottery tickets!

It would be nice to win the lottery, the things I could do if I had the money!

I started feeling tired even before I finished the race, so I hit the hay as soon as I’d finished it.

I woke an hour later, had a leak and sip of water, then went back to sleep, waking a few minutes ago.

This new sleep pattern has its uses, but I miss sleeping through a good 8 hours.

Oh well: Might as well check my email and Facebook, then go race.

At 10am I’ll go to the shop as deliveries are at 9am.

I may have to delay going to the shop as my insides have other plans.

AT 2.08pm Momma Nature finally called and I was then able to go to the shop.

The walk down was quiet, I got to the store to find the afternoon staff on the checkouts, so I got the money I needed from the ATM, grabbed bread and milk, giving up on the beer as I’ll need it when the weather gets warmer.

Everything paid for, including lottery tickets, I cracked a joke with the ladies and then headed home.

The walk down was uneventful, apart from saying good afternoon to two highways workmen, and I got home without feeling sore.

The bread and milk are now packed away, I’ve taken my meds and now I have to wait for Thursday when I’ll get my meds and do my food shopping at Aldi.

This time I’ll just need 28 pots of egg noodles and 4 packs of Chicken Keiv’s as well as a pack of butter and maybe two packs of crumpets.

Now to go back to You Tube.

America continues to entertain as Guliani loses his New York licence to practise law and more!

Looks like lying to the courts on Trump’s behalf has its price.

The news about American Police is desperately sad, an out-of-control Cop in a supposed speeding traffic stop Sprayed pepper spray into a car containing two children and their parents, forcing the father to drive off to escape only for the trooper to ram the car twice, ejecting the 11 year old girl from the car, fatally injuring her.

The excuse for her death?

She wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

Naturally the parents were horrified by what happened, but the only penalty for the officer was to be put on desk duty.

Why this lack of concern?

The family were black…

I have a headache and I took Ibuprofen for it, but it hasn’t kicked in yet so I’m off to bed for a nap.

It’s a little early, but it’ll do as a break from racing.

I checked the news and Trump might very well get away with his tax and insurance scams as well as his fraudulent Bank activities, but his business may go bankrupt if the Banks get nervous and call in their loans, because he has too little cash to work with as many of his loans are ‘personal’ loans and fall due over the next couple of years and COVID has crippled his income from hotels and golf courses.

The wheel turns, does it not?

I read the MSN and Red Button news and Hopeless Hancock has resigned after being recorded getting hot and heavy with a woman he was having an affair with, in his office.

He has resigned and his wife has left him.

Good.

He set the rules for the country during the pandemic – and broke them himself.

I had the usual movie dreams which I quite enjoyed, waking at 8.41am.

First order of business was the usual 2 mugs of tea.

The day is warm and sunny, but forecast to be cloudy.

Time to check my email, Facebook and WordPress.

No email, 37 notifications on Facebook and my good friend Tom was up to his short story best on WordPress!

I still think he should try writing a book of short stories as he has the talent!

I’m yawning a lot, but I can’t go back to bed or I’ll sleep too long!

I also need to put out the rubbish, but most of my neighbours are late risers on a Sunday, so I’ll leave that for later.

I also have to phone mum at 2pm.

She’s not going to be happy that I didn’t tell her about my heart episode as soon as I got back from the hospital.

I phoned mum, but she had to call me back as she’d been taking laxatives for 4 days and was now getting chained to the loo!

Normally we’d be chatting for an hour, but we managed only 30 minutes this time.

Unfortunately I have to quit as I’m getting a headache from the eye strain.

Thankfully my using the PSVR headset actually helps with headaches – until I take it off if I don’t ignore my aching neck!

Guess I’ll check Facebook, the news and then head for my PS4.

I had 58 notifications to clear, not including dozens of applications to join the witch group, but I only approved 45% because the ones I declined hadn’t answered the questions.

If they show a brain cell or two they’ll answer the questions and re-apply!

Now for a pee and some racing as I wait for 5pm and my next meal.

Well You Tube was interesting as usual, anything from future wind powered generators to Derek Chauvin getting 12 years for killing George Floyd, an African American who was murdered in cold blood, live on camera.

The other three officers who were involved in the killing are about to face trial, so you can bet they are quaking in their boots.

Time to do my Echores as I’m feeling tired again.

Read the news, then did a session on You Tube watching clips about Star Ship preparations for the first full configuration flight, Elon Musk’s plans for terraforming Mars, then the political stuff which exposed the lies told by two idiots who threatened BLM marchers, who passed their property peacefully, with an AR15 and an automatic hand gun.

Not surprisingly they only got a fine and the guns were confiscated, but these 2 LAWYERS bought new guns and now Ken is standing for public office using the publicity and outright lies and exaggerations to boost his chances of getting elected.

I also ate a toasted cheese sandwich and got ready for bed.

Now I’m of for some sleep.

I woke to the alarm and made a pint of cordial.

I went for a leak and there was blood in my urine as well as some anal bleeding, but not too bad.

So: I’m not going to take the second dose until 8am.

Now to do my Echores!

Now to wait for 6am and my trip to the shop for money.

Once that is done all I have to do is wait for 8.15am when I’ll order a taxi.

Once I get to the Hospital I’ll have a long walk ahead of me – the Hospital is huge!

It was raining, so I took my umbrella which decided to turn itself inside out on the first attempt.

Umbrella behaving I set forth and walked to Mc.Colls, but it was a wasted journey as the ATM was out of order.

Thankfully I have the taxi fare and more!

The rain had stopped by the time I got home, so I took off my T shirt so I could cool down.

Time to check You Tube and keep my mind busy.

At 8am I take the next dose of blood thinners and hope nothing goes wrong.

It was fortunate that I was planning to arrive early as the taxi was late!

He got me there with ten minutes to spare though and I found my own way to the ACU, arriving dead on 9am.

Most of the day was a case of sit and watch TV, but by lunch time my sugar levels were crashing, however I got to the CT scan (Computed Tomography) thanks to a porter and it was a painful experience as my shoulders don’t bend up and back too well, so I was in a lot of pain, but breathed through it as I was scanned.

I was rewarded by Sam with a cheese sandwich on returning to the ACU.

I had to wait about an hour for the results, but the clot busting drugs had done their stuff and I was fine!

The only drama was when Sam removed the Cannula from my right hand and I had a messy bleed!

Now to zap a ready meal and open new bottles of tomato sauce and salad cream.

OK I’m fed and my teeth are clean, so I’m off to bed for a few hours.

I just woke up to the news a pop-up vaccination centre is opening in Heaton Park which is within my range!

Getting up though was painful as I feel like I went 2 rounds with Mike Tyson!!!

I couldn’t sleep, so I had a race, then tried again and dozed off as Mark came home.

I woke at 3.47am and went back to bed to doze for a bit.

The shop opens officially at 6am, when the delivery truck arrives, so I’m going to go at 7am.

I’m awake, but feel like I could do with more sleep.

It had been raining, so the streets were wet and the air thick and humid.

I ran into a neighbour walking his dog, so we said hi as usual.

The walk down was head-on into a guy who was clearly stressed about me, so I said good morning and he relaxed.

Next came a young woman walking her dog so I paused so she had room to pass, cars and waste bins narrowing the path.

She thanked me with a smile.

I got to the store and collected a wet shopping cart, then went into the store to find Mags and the new woman working, so I said hi as usual.

There was four leaf lettuce bagged and ready to eat, so I took 2 and a bottle of salad cream as they had no mayonnaise and 15 frozen ready meals, five of each kind.

I ended up with Mags on the checkout, so we processed the shopping and I chatted with her briefly before heading home.

The walk back was difficult, my hips already complaining, but I only stopped once for a sip of water from the bottle I brought with me from home.

Everything packed away I ate one bag full of lettuce dosed with salad cream.

Now to wait for 9am when I’ll phone the surgery and leave a message for doctor Zaman.

The UK morning crowd have logged in, so I gave a few good morning greetings to them.

Now to go on You Tube until 9am when I’ll leave that message to doctor Zaman.

Hopefully it’ll be added to my records.

Just got through to the surgery and the doctor wants me to go to A&E to be assessed.

Just hope I can afford the taxi fare…

Fortunately I hadn’t been shopping so I had the money for getting there and back, but I spent until 7.45pm at the hospital.

I am not supposed to eat without taking Metformin, but I was there so long I gave into temptation and had a ham sandwich as well as a bottle of water by 6pm.

The good news is that the tests show my heart is OK, but I have a blood clot floating around my arteries, so I have been given blood thinners which are NOT good news, given what happened with Skip who lost half his blood volume when he had a catastrophic nose bleed after he had been put on blood thinners because he had a pacemaker fitted.

Now I have to watch for bleeding from the nose, anal bleeding and in my urine.

If it happens I am to dial 999 and call for an Ambulance, something Gloria and Skip had been unable to do, so Gloria had to drive 43 miles to Raleigh where the nearest hospital was.

So: I’m going to eat and then I am going to shower as I have been sweating all day.

I have to go back tomorrow for further tests providing I survive the night.

Right now my priority is FOOD!!!

Echores time!

Forgot to mention Pat phoning me yesterday as I’ve been very quiet.

Now to go make something to eat and then I’ll do some racing.

The sun was out for most of yesterday, so my flat is a comfortable 24’C at the moment, but I need it colder if I am to sleep, so I’m opening the bedroom windows, then I’m off to race.

Shopping today will be for frozen food, so I’m going to head for bed when I get tired and I will no doubt awaken at silly o’clock again.

I checked the weather prediction and it will be a dry day and cool enough to help me get there and back without needing a shower afterwards.

I SHOULD be able to get my frozen food without getting wet, but I’ll wear my winter coat just in case.

Sue was due a knee replacement, but her BP is ‘way too high, so she’s on meds for it and has to wait for an opening at a main hospital because the small hospital she was at doesn’t have back-up.

I’m now waiting to have a dump before I go to the shop.

It’ll be quieter and less stressfull.

I keep having stinky farts so my insides are still not 100%.

You Tube was interesting, apparently Qanon followers are confused because Trump is going on tour for the 2024 elections.

Apparently he doesn’t need to do this if he is going to be ‘reinstated’ in August.

On an aside: There is no option for reinstating a President written in the Constitution.

If Biden dies or becomes incapacititated then Kamala Harris takes over.

If something happens to her, then Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the house, is next in line.

I feel tired so I’m off for a nap.

I woke at 4.20am, made a glass of cordial and now I have to stay awake until 6am, get my shopping, then head back to bed.

I raced until 6.22am, then headed for the shop.

The sun was up, but it was 6’C, so comfortable.

I said good morning to one of the workmen I see at this time and cracked a joke that had him laughing.

I got to the shop to fine June working alone, so I said hi and collected bread, 2 bottles of milk and 10 bottles of craft ale.

There was a guy waiting at the checkout, so I called to June who wasn’t happy about being called!

I let a black guy go before me who was buying lottery tickets and then had my turn.

June was somewhat mollified when I told her about the heart attack I had a few days back and she asked why I was buying more beer, so I told her I’d had my warning and was taking it seriously, so there was no point in holding back.

I packed everything away, but I’d forgotten my lottery tickets, so I queued again and got them.

The walk back was past one of my neighbours whose white Scotty dog came to say hi, told him a joke that had him chuckling and continued home past a woman and her dog which was pleased to see me.

I got home and packed everything away, so I’ll be having cereal at 8am as I’m not hungry despite my early start.

Time to check Facebook, then I’ll do some more racing.

You Tube was interesting, literally a battle between good and evil in the ‘states, with dark money feeding the battle.

Think the American system is about representing the people?

Think again.

What it all boils down to is who is feeding money to whom.

Manchin is desperate to keep the filibuster intact because that’s what he is being paid to do.

Meanwhile the people with the money are playing their own games, spending millions in political bribes to save billions from being lost in taxes.

A recent leak of millionaire tax details show how those in the top income brackets pay almost no taxes and in some cases getting paid rebates for perceived losses.

Meanwhile the poorest pay big time and get closely watched in case they screw up.

The Space X Space ships are moving to full orbital flight tests and have a good way to recover the booster stage, by literally flying it back to the launch site and then use a huge claw to catch it IN FLIGHT!

Will it work?

Yes in theory, but it’ll have to be tried a few times to get it right.

The interesting thing is that the Raptor engines burn oxygen/methane fuel.

Why?

Because there is ice to mine on Mars and the atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide, the 2 items needed to make methane and oxygen as a byproduct.

Elon Musk is a crazy bastard to do it, but mankind is going to Mars and they intend to set up a permanent colony and he’s REALLY going to do it.

Mankind settling on Mars in my lifetime?

Well Facebook is done and dusted.

Now for my Echores, then I’ll get ready for bed.

I couldn’t settle, so I had a race until I was tired and slept through until 10.45am.

I had a glass of cordial in the fridge, so I got that and powered up my PC.

Now to wait until I’ve had a visit from Momma Nature, then I’ll go get bread, milk and lottery tickets.

Meanwhile I’ll check my email and Facebook.

I was going to go to the shop at 1pm, but I have a dose of the trots, so can’t go.

I have plenty of canned food and 1 frozen ready meal so I won’t starve, but I’m not happy.

I watched a bunch of clips on You Tube and it was fascinating as the Trump organisation could face RICO charges, the same way the Mafia was taken down.

Right now various members of the Trump organisation are facing charges so as Mr. Cohen, (Trump’s one-time Lawyer who did jail time for the things he did for Trump), put it they are most likely talking to investigators in an effort to avoid going to jail themselves and the Trump CFO Alan Weisberg is no doubt coming under a lot of pressure to co-operate, because this not only involves him, but both of his sons.

From the looks of it the Trump Organisation could be bankrupted permanently.

I feel grotty, so I’m off for a nap.

I was booting up my PC when I got a red alert and headed for the loo.

I’m now sore, but I’m washing my hands, so I should be OK by tomorrow.

The weather is forecast to be wet until around 10am, but the food wagon doesn’t show up until 8am and stuff is on the shelves at 9am, so I’ll just wait until it stops raining.

Right now it is warm and stuffy in here so I’m opening some windows and then I’ll have a race before I get some sleep.

I woke at 4.54am, my face and neck damp with sweat even though I’d kicked off my covers at some point.

I did a mega session on Facebook, saying hi to new witchy members and searching for stuff to post as well as chatting with Gina who has yet to be given a price to fix her aircon as the engineer needs to obtain parts to fix it.

I’ll have a look in the Argos store in Middleton for what they have.

Summer is here so I have to prepare for a heatwave.

The racing was fun, but the last one was a nail-biter as the fuel usage was greater than expected.

Fortunately I allow 2 laps worth of fuel just in case, so I had a pit stop on lap 7 of 10 to top up my tank and finished with just 0.6Litres of fuel onboard!

I took care of Facebook, then went on You Tube, but could only watch a couple of clips before I started feeling tired again, so I’m back off to bed.

I woke a couple of times, but decided to have an extra snooze time, getting up at 11.32am.

First order of business was 2 mugs of tea and a glass of cordial.

Now to check my email and Facebook notifications.

Space X are planning on going to Mars and intend to plant a colony there!

Elon Musk has the money and the means, so it looks possible, but NASA is also planning a Mars trip, costing far more and relying on old ship designs to do it.

I didn’t think it would happen in my lifetime, but here we are.

Gina is struggling with a heatwave, her Air Conditioning not working, so she has had to call in experts to fix it.

Hope she can afford the repair!

I can use IM to chat with my friends, but I can’t post or comment until 10.31pm.

I came online and there were 10 notifications to clear on Facebook.

A lot of the American humour shows are back in their studios which were fun to watch and kept me fired up.

I found a Chinese person had 34 minute clips saying nasty things about Trump in the titles, but the clips had nothing on that subject which was disappointing, however there was stuff on the virus which the Indian, or Delta, version was reported to be spreading throughout the USA.

We have it here and I think I’ve had a dose, but I have both my own immune response to the initial version and the version triggered by my vaccination, so given I have had 1 serious, 1 milder but longer and 2, 24 hour illnesses similar to the one I got when I was vaccinated, it looks like I’m in a good place.

Time to check Facebook, then I’ll have another race as I try to kill time before I can post stuff on Facebook again.
