Building LGBTQIA+ Worker Power
Pride At Work joins the Minnesota AFL-CIO in endorsing Friday's Day of Truth and Freedom
As a labor movement, LGBTQIA+ community, and entire country, we must stand together to demand the removal of ICE from our communities and an end to the abduction of our loved ones.
Through tear gas, harassment and assault, everyday Minnesotans are demonstrating how we free America by organizing mutual aid for families forced into hiding, walking kids to school, standing guard on streets, and refusing to be intimidated by masked thugs. Pride At Work encourages all of our members to channel that Minnesotan courage, find a local solidarity action, and wear blue on Friday, January 23. We refuse to allow business as usual to continue while our communities, our members, and our families are being terrorized.
Pride At Work members gathered with over 1,000 union siblings from across the country for the 2026 AFL-CIO Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Civil and Human Rights Conference in Baltimore
Together we skilled up to meet the moment with workshops, panels, wisdom from labor and civil rights leaders, and a massive Nonviolent Civil Resistance Training. From the Pullman Sleeping Cars, to Stonewall, to Selma, to all of our unions- we know that the power of everyday people joining together and protecting each other is how we win freedom for us all!
This World AIDS Day in the United States is a stark reminder that while we have made huge strides in prevention and treatment, we must remain vigilant in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
We recommit ourselves to carrying on the work of the HIV/AIDS activists who have come before us and pledge to ACT UP! FIGHT BACK! FIGHT AIDS!
