I’m wondering what “tools” you guys used that worked better for TTC? I already have a Fertility Friend account and use the app, which works great (I don’t have the paid account, just the free one).
Also, what about forums and message boards? Different friends have recommended What to Expect, The Bump, BabyCenter, and Countdown to Pregnancy. I don’t really want to be active on ALL of them, so I’m wondering which ones you used (if any) and which you prefer? Are some more lesbian friendly than others?
I’ve also been reading Stephanie Brill’s book “The New Essential Guide to Lesbian Conception, Pregnancy, & Birth” and she talks a lot about taking vitamins and drinking special fertility tea. Did you guys use specific tea or vitamin supplements?
My cycles are pretty regular, but a touch on the long side (33-34 days generally). I have no reason to believe I will have trouble TTC, but I want to be as prepared and ready as possible. I’ve already started taking a multi-vitamin with folic acid.
Lastly, what did you find worked best for tracking ovulation? I already track BBT and CM. Brill highly recommends checking your cervical positing and texture- did any of you do that? What about other stuff like checking saliva?
So much information!! So many options! I feel a little overloaded, so I’m trying to pare it down to the most efficient options.
