I began as a child. After that I spent 50 years as an engineer designing heating, air conditioning and water systems for buildings. Then I was reborn as a serious student of the arts, achieving a BA in Literature through the Open University, picking up the Diploma in Creative Writing en route. Following this rebirth, I’m prone to wandering round the countryside on foot, enjoying the second childhood with the benefit of experience.
