Tanisha was born in Pottstown, Pa and raised in Atlanta, Ga. She served Ten Years in the United States Army as a Medical Logistician. After medically retiring in May 2016, Tanisha currently attends Georgia State University for a degree major in Social Work. After completing her Master’s Degree, she intends to obtain her license as a Professional Counselor. She enjoys writing, laying out on a beach, and using her voice to empower black women and girls as well as her T Shirt Line “FemNastic Tees and Accessories”. This blog and website will focus primarily on the liberation of Black Women and girls spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Many of the topics will center mostly around achieving healthy interpersonal relationships, black women achieving self preservation, and self mastery.
