Soph at Kidzania
Soph had her school field trip today at Kidzania. Even though parents were allowed to join, I chose not to accompany her because I want her to mingle with her friends and be independent. I am trying to develop her interpersonal skills on her own, without me in the area. Because if I joined, I am sure it would be another Mommy and daughter bonding time instead. She won't bother to socialize with her classmates just because I am with her. A mom was assigned to watch over her, anyway. For me, that was enough reason why I made that decision.
I guess she enjoyed in Kidzania. She is fond of doing pretend play and her experience in Kidzania as a "working adult" was something she would cherish. She tried four jobs and she loved being a chef the most.

Hello Kahel
One a half month after Kahel Jeziah was born, we finally met him. It was a busy month for us since Soph just transferred to big school. Plus, our hectic weekend schedules didn't match. Ha. Stop the excuses. We just made sure Franz and Kringle have surpassed the adjustment period of being first time parents before we paid a visit. :)

Welcome to parenthood, Kringle and Franz. Cheers to more sleepless nights. Hehe.
Sophie's 6th
Happy Birthday to my little girl. I am not sure what we exactly did in the past six years. But, I am certain that mostly were great memories - if not all. Time just flew very fast. And I don't know what I'll do when the time comes that she'd decide on her own, conquer her dreams and start her own family. Hahaha. I forgot. She just turned six. Masyado akong advance mag-isip. Hehe.

Sophie, I am very proud of what you have become today. Continue to be a good Ate to Sid. I hope that you'd be less reserved. Don't hesitate to say what's in your heart. Just always pray and He'll help you. And of course - obey Mommy and Daddy. We love you so much. Happy Birthday.
May & Macky
Six years after Chris and I tied the knot, someone from my childhood friends followed my path. FINALLY! Hehe. When we're young, I thought May would be the first one to get married. However, I was wrong. Alam na. :)
May and Macky met in college and from there, their love story has began. It was a roller coaster ride, and I am so glad they ended up together.

Their wedding was a wonderful one. It was full of love. Some of their friends even helped out in their wedding. Which means, they are really loved. In addition, I created their candy buffet. *Shameless plug*

Congratulations and best wishes, Macky and May. Make babies agad!!!
Off to Big School
Flashback June 1991. I was a student who cried my lungs out on my first day of Big School. Imagine how everyone saw my acting performance. Hehe. Preparatory classrooms were located in a hexagon building where the grade school library is now located. It was open wherein students can see students from another sections just turning their backs. You see, I won't let my Mom leave me behind because I was OVERWHELMED.
Twenty-five years later. Sophie attends the same school as mine since we still live in the vicinity. I accompanied her on her first day. I was nervous that she might repeat what I did back then. I brought her inside her classroom, told her that I'd meet her in Gate 6 and then I left. I saw her worried face but I guess she prevailed and most of all, she didn't cry.
Dismissal time came. I saw her concerned that she might not see me. I called her and waved. And then she smiled at me. Hayy. We now have a first grader. How time flies sooooo fast!

I see myself from Sophie. We are both reserved, introvert and what not. So I didn't expect that she didn't cry on her first day. Good job, Ate!
Two Front Teeth
We visited our family dentist in Ortigas Center to examine Sophie's front tooth. Sophie's permanent came too early and cut her gums above the milk tooth. I was worried that my "dental history" might happen to hers; hence, I asked our dentist to check before its too late.
Our dentist told me that we need to perform tooth extraction in order to help the permanent come out smoothly. Without any hesitation, I gave my approval.
Our dentist pulled out Sophie's two front teeth. The procedure took more or less an hour. Sophie was in too much pain and even cried. I hope she wouldn't be afraid to visit the dentist next time. Of course, I let her ate an ice cream right after for doing a great job. :)

#MayForever27
It was 14 years in the making. Met Jayel when we were still in our last year in high school. I once became his "textmate" to know if he was serious in courting Onai. Unfortunately, he easily caught me that I was lying and everything I said were made up just because of one wrong text message - I didn't know where PSBA is located. Ha!
Their love story is "against all odds". We're aware how difficult Jayel went through during the courting stage. And they even have to part ways for years! Eventually, they still ended up together; thus, the hashtag - #MayForever27.

To Onai and Jayel:
Your story made me believe that there is such thing as "forever". I know you went through a lot that made your relationship stronger. I hope you continue to love each other. Enjoy the married life - chaotic yet super fun! Read: KIDS. Love you guys. Hehe.
