Back

Hi,
let's get back in the swing of things... since my last post we have moved with some up and downs but overall we've made it and we have an amazing house - enough room, amazing neighbors and we have adjusted pretty well.
The kids are enjoying Tennis, Gymnastics and Soccer for after school activities and met some great new friends already. The Hubby is working a lot remotely and I'm just trying to figure out things and getting us all into the new routine of things. The 'To Do List' is slowly but surely being worked on but it's still pretty long.
We had an amazing summer of course again. The kids and I took an amazing road trip from Michigan to Baltimore, MD and then we drove south to our new home in Charleston, SC and checked out a few places on route. It was really fun but after being on the road for two weeks I was so glad to be in my own bed again. Frank has been going back to Michigan twice and has lived more in Michigan since we got here than here or so it seems to me. We did ok and managed well but it's time to make this our home together with everyone in it. It's quite interesting to see that you're getting into a routine of four and then things are getting stirred up and you're managing as three, then again as four and again as three...
Charleston is very beautiful. I don't get out there enough... I really need to get out there more often and just stroll through the town and enjoy the beauty.
For now I'm just keeping the post short... but I'm determined to post more again and keep y'all updated on our life. We're truly grateful for our move and what we have. I do miss Michigan a lot and my friends and it was a rough start for the kids when school started and reality hit. But we've met some amazing people here and we're on our way to call this our home.

It's happening!!!

Hello Hello,
I still cannot believe that we've made it this far! It's unbelievable and I'm so excited but there are still 5 more days of pure impatient that this all could fall through somehow... so I'm trying to stay calm and slowly start believing this is happening :).
Our closing on the new house is scheduled for June 14th and so far it looks REALLY good and on schedule.

In the meantime I enjoyed a field trip with Zoe's class and the kids had a blast as well as the parents and teachers and everyone slept well afterwards :).
Finally deciding and going through all the motions of a house buy and knowing that this deal is happening made me sooo happy. It was a rocky road AGAIN and getting so close to closing is just pure happiness. I cannot wait to arrive at our final destination. Heading out with my German friends for a spontaneous Ladies' Night :)
The kids and I are trying to go to Greenfield Village as much as we can since I absolutely love that place and my membership is going to expire on June 15th when the kids get out of school :(... so the weekends need to make up for the lost last week that we could've gone more often. I'm excited to go there today and tomorrow again :)... the kids just have no idea yet ;). They'll be thrilled (not) *lol*
Checking out front porches and getting into the feel. I cannot wait for my own front porch and my rocking chair :) :) :) ... the best thing about the move (right behind to Frank being happy *lol*).
I'm trying to use up all my gift cards and such and a new hair cut was in the cards even with washing and blow drying!!! Uiuiuiui... I should do that more often, the compliments came streaming in. I normally just go for a dry cut and go but this was well spend money I guess (or gift cards).
Other than that there are no other news other than the house has been slowly stowed away in boxes and the garage sale went very well. The rest that didn't go I donated and it feels a lot emptier now. We don't have much packing left but of course the things we're using daily will go last and there will be quite some boxes at the end to fill with all the kitchen stuff and the clothes... I'll keep you posted after the closing and post some pictures of the house :)

House Hunting

Can you believe to 'waste' a completely awesome day to a handy man appt?!
Jup... that just happened to me today. I was so excited for my day today but then the plumber arrived of course in the later part of his appt. spot and then he couldn't fix it right away and was pulling out his hair - I missed my gym class and now that he finally fixed it after HOURS it's almost time to pick up the kids again... so so sad but at least it's done. I got a few more cartons packed which is not bad either but I was so excited to go to the gym today.
In the last few weeks I've just been taking care of doc appt. / check ups and getting things taken care of. One of the things was getting my tires aligned, oil changed and fun stuff like that.
In the meantime I'm packing daily a little bit and the cartons are filling up quickly... we've exceeded way more than my 23 cartons that I came with *lol*.
We're house hunting as well. Our sale has been going so smooth it's really nice but the uncertainty of what we're getting into is a big nerve wrecking I have to admit.
Frank was just there and looked at houses and we decided one of them would be a great option so we're going through the process now of making an offer etc.! We've already put in an offer on another house we both really liked but after a few counters the sellers decided that they don't want to sell after all!!! Quite weird but I guess it happens and I'm happy for them to keep the home. The kids are super excited for Charleston and are counting the weeks left of school.
Me packing *lol*... sorting out... never ending it seems but I know there will be an end in sight.
Goofing with my goofballs
The weather finally took a change of heart and we are enjoying our trips outdoors again. Woot Woot... this one was a super long winter but I'm sure only because we're leaving and MI knew I'd miss this cold weather a bit more than other family members :).
Hopefully next time I'll have some good house news for y'all :).

News...

Aaahhh, this feels great... I missed my blog a ton. Peeps, how have you guys been?
As you can see I'm giving you some fun news that I can share with you. Frank has been living in Detroit now for about 10 years and for me it has been about 8.5 years and we're finally making it work to go back to where he would like to retire. I'll check out the place for myself and then we'll see if we both like it there. The kids are excited and Henry cannot wait to get rid of his long pants and Zoe makes all kind of plans already for the beach and her new school and being with her aunt and uncle.
I have applied to go back to work with the company that has transferred me over to the USA and I have to say I'm super excited. Of course I'm a little heart broken to not spend that much time with the kids but I assume we'll work it all out and we will all do great. There are so many working moms out there if they can do it, I can do it too.
I'm still the crazy Plexus Lady and I love every single day of it. We're having so much fun with the team, the team is growing and we've added amazing people and the products have helped me so much I am super happy where I am with everything right now. I'm super active with workouts :)... in the gym every day if I can make it and enjoying my fit body for once :).
I also did something really cool for myself :). I became a Zumba Instructor... I've fallen in love with Zumba so much that I've decided to become an Instructor and even though I wanted to do it for myself only now I'm preparing my first class / practicing the routines and all :). I'm beyond thrilled for this new adventure and super excited about everything. I still am not as fit to be able to lead a full hour class but my instructors in the gym are encouraging me to lead a song or two during their classes and they guide me along to succeed. I'm super excited and couldn't be happier at this moment.
Hope everyone is having an amazing spring. Our temperatures here in Michigan are still very chilly and we hope that we'll warm up very soon over here... everyone is READY for spring.

I'm back

Hi guys,
not sure if anyone is still checking in here on a regular basis and I'm very sorry that I've truly neglected this very important part of my life, my story and my way of sharing my life with you. I've just not found time to spend writing on my blog but new things are coming again this summer and I am determined to document all of those for everyone and myself to read later in life again.

We've had an amazing time since you last heard from me. It only has been since October ;). I've done a lot of self development and seeing where I want to head next and where our family needs to head and so on and I believe we've found our new journey together in this. We're excited for new adventures to come and we'll keep you updated on every single event, I promise. I will def. carve out time from now on since I've missed writing a lot as well.

Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the spring in the upcoming weeks and taking care of their health and wealth :).
