SAFEchurch promotes church leadership who

We have listed leadership principles taken from the Word of God and believe that every church leader should believe in and live by these principles. These principles are not our thoughts and opinions, but they come directly from the Word of God.

There are so many people in this world that have been abused, manipulated, and mistreated. When they come into the church, they should find an oasis of SAFEty. Yet, the church is one of the leading perpetrators of abuse, control, and manipulation.

SAFEchurch promotes a Spiritual Abuse Free Environment. We invite you to join us in this endeavor to encourage leaders to build churches where they Serve, Accept, Facilitate, and Equip God’s people.

“Care for the flock of God entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly – not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your good example.” (1 Peter 5:2-3; NLT)

Clark Memorial United Methodist Church is in the New Mexico Annual Conference. I know that we do background checks and I believe credit checks on prospective employees. Clark MUMC wants to rent a parsonage. Can you also do these background checks on rental applicants? Please let me know as soon as possible.
