My definition of successful is unique. Unlike the general perception of being successful, I think a successful person is one who has peace of mind. The lucky one who made sure to stay at 🕊️ in this not so peaceful life.

I have just rented a penthouse and my owner lives on the ground flour. And I would say she is the best neighbour I have ever seen in my whole life.
What makes her a good neighbour includes:
- Extremely caring
- Helping hand
- Compassionate
- Empathetic
- Always ready to help
- Highly concerned about our comfort as renters
- Friendly

In Pakistani culture, meeting up with (even not close) relatives every now and then is considered good. If you meet your mother-in-law’s or husband’s cousin every 15 days, at least, you are considered “good”. You are viewed as a “good” bahu (daughter-in-law/wife). Otherwise, you are rude!
I believe I am rude. I have been putting off meeting many relatives from my husband’s side. This includes:
- Husband’s four sisters
- his brother and wife
- brother ‘s wife relatives
- Mother-in-law’s sisters
- Mother in law’s sister’s family
- Father in law ‘s brother
- Father in law’s brother’s sons and daughters
- Husband’s Cousin’s and their families including their wives, sons’ and sons’ wives and the list goes on ..

I was a naive, shy, under confident girl at 9. While my 12-years-old sister was highly responsible, active, confident and daring. She owned leadership abilities too.
These qualities made her a very popular gurl among peer, cousins, and everyone alike.
She was an exceptional organizer and initiator of small indoor events (games). These events were very popular and all our friends waited for them eagerly.
I was her exact opposite.
Unfortunately, she died in an accident just after her 13th birthday. That day, I felt as if a shield was taken away from me. I felt grown up for the first time that day. I took on all the responsibilities that my elder sister had managed.
But I still feel, she could have done those things better than me…
