I’m Heather Campbell, an entomologist interested in biodiversity, conservation and community ecology. I am a Senior Lecturer in Entomology within the Agriculture and Environment Department at Harper Adams University. My research uses savannah, desert and dry forest ecosystems in southern and eastern Africa to study insect biodiversity. I am particularly interested in ant ecology, as well as conducting research on insect-plant interactions and citizen science. I work extensively in developing innovative entomology teaching and outreach to advance knowledge and engagement in insect conservation.
