I’m Jerri.

 

I’m 27 and live in Liverpool with my husband to be and our doggle, Dita. I’ve always enjoyed blogs but never started one purely because I didn’t know what to write!  I spend a lot of my time faffing about on forums and it seems that people are keen to listen to my advice, so I thought “why not”.

I’m a big beauty geek and I love trying out products- from drugstore quality to high end stuff. I’m looking forward to reviewing some of my all time favourites and maybe even showing off some of my makeup skills. I completed my Makeup diploma in 2009 and remain a fully-insured freelance MUA although I suppose that’s my “secondary” job.

In 2011 I set up a business, aided by the Prince’s Trust which means that I get to unleash my creative genius on a daily basis. I customize shoes, mainly for brides and bridesmaids, but I get to do some crazy one off pieces too. I’ll post some of my work here 🙂

I get married in August 2012 so you can also expect some wedding talk (every girls favourite subject). In preparation for the wedding I’m also losing weight, so there will probably be a daily weight loss update too.

One of the other things I LOVE to do is travel- I’m actually looking forward to my honeymoon more than my wedding! So here sounds like a great place to discuss potential honeymoon destinations.

Basically, this blog will literally be the life and times of….rather than my musings on just beauty, or weight loss, or crafting. Please feel free to add your thoughts and opinions: I’d love to hear from you.
