Acquaint provides the ability to do so. Currently, Acquaint has over 1,500 participants from 110+ nations.
Acquaint’s mission focuses on fostering inclusivity and recognizing the ability to collaborate even when there may be differences. Participants must be 15+ years of age and have basic conversational English skills.
You can sign up here (it is free!) and then you’ll soon be able to schedule an onboarding. Afterwards, you’ll be able to select your availability for the online dialogues. You can enter into virtual modules that consists of nature, museums, and more. There are no video features on Acquaint’s platform – it is audio and text only to provide more capacity to connect with people worldwide.
With conflicts increasing globally, now is a great time to enter into a world where peace is possible. Acquaint offers a certificate after 10 hours of participating, and additionally includes micro-courses to advance your communication skills. This month marks an astonishing 11 years since I started my blog in December 2007. Although my activity on here has dwindled to only a few sporadic posts per year, I still view my blog often as there is always something pulling me back – whether it is a new comment from someone, an email someone sent to me, or an article that I go back to on my blog to re-read.
