07 July 2016 – 469 – Don’t Worry

We all have our worries from time to time and

I always have to remind myself that things will work out.

We need to have faith.

In Luke 25 verse 12 it says:

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?

Here are some more reminders for you,

and I wish you a worry free day!

worry1

Sometimes you have to stop worrying,

wondering and doubting.

Have faith that things will work out,

maybe not how you planned,

but just how it’s meant to be.

worry2

worry3

Every struggle in your life has shaped you

in to the person that you are today.

Be thankful for the hard times;

they can only make you stronger.

worry

Enjoy the good in each moment,

and have a wonderful day!

hello july

July is the seventh month of the year. It was named by the Roman Senate in honor of the Roman general, Julius Caesar, it being the month of his birth.

July means Summer.

July means sun.

July means warmth.

Yes, we get out more in July.

So be aware of the wonderful present which is your life!

25 June 2016 – 467 – Guestpost: Thomas update

Hello all furry friends, and all blog readers,

I needed to update you all quickly, while the computer is on.

After a long time of finding all different places to rest and sleep,

like

a tight cardboard box

catbed1

 Sometimes a bigger one….

catbed4

The empty suitcase after a trip….

catbed2

catbed3

the lap of course….

my food giver finally got the message…..

She ordered a soft basket bed for me to sleep in:

catbed

I can’t wait until it will be delivered.

As it is very often rainy, I prefer to be indoors.

Don’t get me wrong, I am out and about when it is dry,

but the British Summer is true to its’ reputation. Wet and windy.

So I can snuggle into my new bed and enjoy my naps, rest and sleep.

Purrrrrfect

19 June 2016 – 466 – My Garden Heaven

Come with me in my little garden.

Small but so enjoyable and beautiful.

Enjoy the small things and see the beauty in it.

My strawberries are coming so lovely this year.

GARDEN jUNE2016 (1)

They are bigger in size, as we had lots of rain,

still not quite red as we do not have enough sun, but…..

All things grow with love!

Slowly they are getting red though,

I can see jam coming up….. ❤

Here are some other shots of my garden.

if you see it at just the right moment,

can be confused with paradise.

16 June 2016 – 465 – Birthday and Rainforest

I have been away to celebrate my mum’s 90th birthday.

My mum deserved a great Birthday Party.

She is doing well and could enjoy everything to the full.

We had a lovely celebration, great food ,

lovely company and everyone was happy.

Never forget to tell your loved ones that you love them.

❤ ❤ ❤

While we were there, we visited the Rainforest there too.

Urahcer Wasserfall (1)

Yes, it was in Germany,

still we walked through the forest

and it rained heavily. 🙂

At the end of the walk we were rewarded

with the view of the local waterfall.

Urahcer Wasserfall (3)

The Uracher Wasserfall

falls 37 meters down and had lots of water as it had rained a lot before.

You cannot drive to the waterfall but have to walk as there is a conservation area around it. It is beautiful to walk through the forest, and only hear the birds, the splashing of the little stream next to you and then the tossing of the waterfall.

As it is June everything is beautifully lush and green.

Here 2 pictures from my mum’s garden, I particularly like.

What a perfect rose!

01 June 2016 – 463 – Welcome June – See the bright side

june

June is the month with the most daylight hours.

It is a bright month.

A summery month.

So whatever you do ,

see things in a bright light,

Be full of optimism,

Look at the bright side.

Life is easier and less complicated that way.

june 1

It was June, and the world smelled of roses.

The sunshine was like powdered gold over the grassy hillside.”

Maud Hart Lovelace

Choose to be optimistic, it feels better.

june 3

Make your new month, as bright as sun,

as colorful as rainbow,

as lovely as flowers,

as happy as birds.

Enjoy the month to its full extent!

Happy New Month June!

28 May 2016 – 462 – Home Tweet Home

Very close to the former Olympic Village which is now called East Village,

there are some lovely parks and many green spaces.

This is 15 minutes from my home away.

On my walk I found this today:

East Village and the RSPB ( Royal Society for the protection of birds)

have joined up with local carpenter Pete Bagg

to create 10 London skyline inspired bird boxes

to help bring birds back to the capital.

Wonderfully done.

I have a picture of the original London Landmark

combined with the bird box.

See for yourself.

23 May 2016 – 461 – With all your heart

Do what you do

with all your heart.

heart 3

I received this heart as a present from my sister, hand made from her region.

Isn’t it lovely,  simple and beautiful.

Follow your brain ,

but take your heart with you.

Sometimes the heart sees

what is invisible to your eyes.

Follow your heart regardless of

what others tell you to do.

It’s how you feel at the end of the day ,

that matters.

Wishing you all a beautiful day !
