This collection was put together by Phil Tierney of Mullingar. Over many years he built up a collection of postcards from around Ireland.  Most of these went to the Westmeath Library when he died in 2013. But in his later years he had been a regular visitor to Skerries to visit his grandchildren, Luka and Lily, and during those years he acquired the images of Skerries now published here.
